        Thanks.

Here's an excerpt from a news article from PI:

"Another sparring partner, actually a Miguel Cotto clone, is coming over. His name Omar Henry who, according to conditioning coach Alex Ariza, is very much like Cotto. “He moves like Cotto. He looks like Cotto. He’s got the same hair as Cotto. He wants to be like Cotto,” said Ariza of the native of Texas... Roach said anyone among Pacquiao’s sparring partners who could knock the hard-hitting champion down will get $1,000 — from his own pocket."

... and LMAO from all the posters' negative/abrasive responses (probably picking Cotto to win or a Boricua) from this thread! They seem to downplay Pac's choices of sparring partners like it wouldn't matter. Nobody said that Pacman's gonna win for sure or will have Cotto's style down pat, the guy's just trying to find the best possible sparring partners that can emulate Cotto's style for crying out loud, that's the purpose of having clones on your camp. Just admit it that you're a bit worried, step out of the denial stage! lol!!!

look at cotto stans reactin to this omar henry bein a possible sparrin partner.

they're like scared ****less askin him not to go to the phil.

          lol one dude said this:

"Ugh dude I'm conflicted. I feel as though you shouldn't puerto rican wise, and it wouldn't help your puerto rican fan base size if they found out. I wouldn't do it if I were you dude, you don't need to spar a featherweight. You're too much like cotto and I'm sure if you go their chances will rise of beating our cotto. Please dude. A filipino wouldn't spar with cotto." - Steven

          look at this nuthugger:
"Omar, trust me. In the future you will get the same chance for exposure with other big names in the sport, Mayweather, Mosley, Berto, etc..

Miguel Cotto is your hero, trust me from one boricua to another. Your time will come to shine with other big names as you move your way up the sport and the rankings. Us Boricua's have to stick together, especially the boricua's that are worth standing up for. Miguel Cotto is worth it, to you and to all of us he's worth it!" -Boricua Warrior

          another one:
"I think the boricua nation should stick together. If I had a hero I looked up to, I myself wouldn't work for the enemy who is trying to defeat him." - TheLionFromCaguas

what's the difference between those guys & pacquiao? THEY ARE GONNA BE SAYING THE SAME THING TO HIM WITH THOSE GUYS!

Cotto is already a star. almost every fight he takes from now on is vs a elite star boxer.

Seriously, what's the difference if shane mosley gets a rematch with cotto & asks henry to spar with him? Or berto? There's less fan fare & exposure & probably less money sparring with those guys than pacquiao.

i dunno who the fck this is but i was picturin cotto in him....lol seems pretty close.

btw....that porter kid's beatin the **** outta pac out of the 2nd sparring today from the news articles ive been reading.

I don't know how true this is, but if it is true; then Roach is really on his game as far as getting the right Sparring partners for Pacman. This guy definitely looks like beast and is very similar to Cotto from what I've seen of him those far. A valuable asset he would be to Pacquiao's training camp if he is indeed add to the mix...

this is a good sparring partner for pacquiao.
Even thought he fight a lot like Cotto. They do not think a like so it might help pacquiao.

it is true what some of the puerto rican fans says in the blog. Filipinos would not go and help Cotto in his fight with Pacquiao. Plus his Omar Henry fan base will be Puerto Ricans.
