Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz Amped For Deontay Wilder Showdown: "This Fat, Chubby Kid Is About To Humble Your Ass"

Deontay Wilder's words are almost as deadly as his fists...almost. A serious makeover was needed for the former champ, one that came with all the bells and whistles. Tyson Fury stripped the one time titlist of his WBC trinket and also placed a permanent dent in his aura. His comeback following back-to-back defeats was both violent and quick.

Windmill says he's not gonna give into Andy's reasonable demands. So what is he gonna do? Fight some other bum on a ppv that'll bomb or just wait for Joshua later this year?

True Wilder knows he is unlikely to beat Ruiz, so possibly lose Saudi payday

I doubt Wilder signs to fight Ruiz unless Joshua, in the unlikely event, loses to Whyte.

All these people saying Ruiz will win, will not put any money on it. I promise you that. All of you guys are writing with emotion.

Well at least he didn't say "this fat, chubby kid is about to eat your ass."

I do not believe that Wilder will beat Ruiz. Ruiz knows that the only weapon that Wilder has is his right hand. If he can guard against that then, he has the fight won. We all know that Wilder cannot box. He throws windmills and haymakers most of the time. He is shot and looking for one more big payday. The split should be 40/40 down the middle with the remaining 20% to go to the winner.

Wilder is the definition of a one trick Pony right hand and nothing else. Ruiz has speed skill and power to go with his arsenal. I see Ruiz coming in heavy AF getting in the clinch where he's super danger with those fast thudding shots and knocking Wilder out.

Ppl don't realize how fast and dangerous Ruiz is in the cinch.

I really hope this fight gets made. I'd be leaning towards Ruiz but it could easily go the other way with Wilder's nuclear right hand.

Wouldn't fkin surprise me though if all this is for show though and purse splits are used as an excuse for not really wanting to take a tricky fight.
