I like the 40/40 split idea but haven't not never seen it done before.

I would pay $200 for PPV for this and not because much is on the line. This is just flat out boxing entertainment. I want Ruiz to truly prepare.

I lean towards the chubby kid due to durability, fast hands, and the fact that wilder simply can’t fight when someone’s bull rushing him. But I admit much of this is about what wilder has left. We won’t see an “improved wilder” because he isn’t smart or disciplined enough to relearn what got him to his Olympic medal but I am curious if he will have any punch resistance left and stamina

what he has left? what did he have in his prime? he beat 2 top 10 opponents his entire career. both near 40 to boot. he suckered everyone in with bum kos. he was the real ggg. ggg has like 12 top 10 wins if you include the canelo robbery.

Ruiz should provide a solid match up, however Wilder is bent on establishing his dominating power in the HW again. Could be a heck of a battle!!

I think 50/50 is fair. 40/40+winner takes the remaining 20 is fair also. Wilder looking for retirement money in case of loss. But I'd say that Wilder losing is more to my leaning.
Andy has fast hands and can punch. I'd bet on Ruiz. But hey, this is the HW division. Where nothing can happen and usually does.

Ruiz Junior vs Wilder is probably stylistically a more action packed fight than Wilder vs Joshua.

Joshua if he wants to can opt to out box Wilder. I am not buying into this narrative that Joshua has to wade forward like Fury.

Fury had to fight that way vs Wilder because he was 270 + pounds and on top of this? He innately a clumsy fighter.

Tyson Fury attempted to out box Wilder in their first fight, and it did not quite work out for him 'Fury was backed up all night, and decked twice once badly' etc.

I’d love to see wilder completely flatten him

It’s a pick them fight 50/50 Wilder is selling himself high, cause he know that little fat guy can put him to sleep. What accolades does Wilder have over Ruiz to do a 50/30? He beat a bum for the title, his defenses were vs C class level. Ruiz beat the guy who was considered by many as the top heavyweight of the time, and rematch the same guy. All of this mofos should stop using social media to hype their $h1t!
