I mean... you are not wrong....

Both those guys run to Twitter and the press to voice how everyone else is crazy, they all are scared, and no one understands how the money should be split but their team. Ruiz and his team are not venting in public. Fury did the same over Usyk and Joshua fights not happening. Makes it obvious to me who needs the good PR and who does not.

At some point Wilder’s gotta budge too. I too feel like he’s the bigger attraction, but Ruiz is not just another fighter. Regardless of your opinion of him, he’s the guy that upset AJ to becomes the Unified Heavyweight Champ. He’s got name recognition and Wilder has to be willing to give up a little bit on the financial side imo.

Ruiz could just be the guy that landed a lucky punch. He certainly didn't prove he deserved to be champ. He likely would have lost his defense to any of the other top 10 because he didn't take his training seriously, and came in hugely overweight and under-trained. He struggled against all of the opponents he's got in common with Wilder. Pretty similar to Kambosos, really.

I am not very hopeful of this fight. Both are on PBC (supposedly) and if something serious were to happen, they would be negotiating behind closed doors unless this is just to hype up the fight.
