He still wouldn’t be next. Stanionis is ahead of Ennis in the mandatory line-up. So he needs to stop pretending that this fight will fall on his lap.

Ennis: "Hopefully Spence-Crawford is a one-sided fight, no rematch, and I'll be next for winner."

Well, you better tell Showtime Espinoza early so he can plan what to do next.
There's no Arum, Hoya, Hearn to deal with, so such fight should be easy to make.
Ball will always be on Showtime's court since you rejected the BLK offer.
It's still up to Spence or Crawford, though.

He gets hit too much by inferior opponents and has a tendency of slipping a punch, popping up and pulling back. After Crawford and Spence fight, and/or move up, there is no one at 147 that can possibly challenge him. He has succeeded at playing the "wait game" and convinced the boxing world everyone was ducking him. Crawford turned pro in 2008 and by his 6th year as a pro, he won a title and then fought Gambo. Granted he was past his best weight class, but unbeated and a worthy opponent. Spence was in his 5th year as a pro when Kell Brooke could no longer run and he went to his homeland and crushed him. He activated his mandatory spot and got the fight he wanted. Boots aint activated ****. He's just been fighting bs and feeding his silly azz fanbase this narrative that no one wants to fight him while playing the "wait game". This is what's wrong with boxing.
Your what's wrong with boxing buddy, u a straight b1tch for what u did to my brother last Friday, and next time.. nah I'm just yanking your chain buddy

If its a one sided fight, and if there's no rematch clause, and if bigfoot is real, and if fox news just reports the news instead of manufacturing it..... I'm next

Don't worry it will be, Spence will beat the breaks of Crawford..remember the whooping that unknown Lithuanian gave Crawford?! I mean dude is 39-0 and only holds some McDonalds happy meal belt lol.. In the all access episode the dude from Crawford's crew kept screaming; '2 time ring magazine belt champ baby' hahahahahaha and then some have the nerves to put him on the p4p list

Any insinuation that Ennis being is avoided by the top Welterweights is simply unsupported nonsense.

Ennis may be the next big thing but lets be real, he is NOT mandatory and doesn't NOT have a fan base....aka no money. With all the welterweights on Boots side of the street they can only find low tier guys that made him look good? When Spence was avoided he went to England for cheap and when Crawford was universally considered too small, he fought a very big welterweight that just mauled Manny Pacquiao....three fights before Manny beat Keith Thurman. Spence forced fights and Crawford dumped a guaranteed multi-million life time ticket to get the fight they wanted.

I'm sorry but Ennis isn't being ducked..... every move, every interview, every opponent..is measured. Ennis keeps himself relevant and behind closed doors waits for the path to clear ......right or wrong, it's by design, that is the plan.

If there were anyway to bet on this being the plan and the final outcome, I would make that bet all day and twice on Sunday.

And if Crawford beats Spence I'm sure you'll say Spence was over rated. It's a great fight by very evenly matched fighters that have every intention of winning....they dare to be great and that's the difference between Spence/Crawford and everyone else.

If no rematch, the winner will fight Thurman. Mans been waiting on a decent low-risk cheque since Barrios and either guy would fancy their chances. That is of course providing the winner doesn't move up in weight.

Lets be honest, Boots Ennis isn't a draw and his team isn't about to risk taking a loss and potentially stop the gravy train before the train eaves the station. More over, neither Spence or Crawford are looking to fight for peanuts.

Get this straight, Spence and Crawford have a big money fight and rematch in 2024 and then more big fights at 154lbs in 2025. The real question, why would any of these 3 fighters risk their status for a no money fight and the honest answer is they won't. The truth is that team Ennis really has no intention of fighting either guy until they are proven past their peak or beatable and that hasn't happened.

I don't see the Spence/Crawford winner excited to come back quickly.
