    Former world champion Jorge Linares, in active since December of 2022, is looking to revamp his career after losing three fights in a row. Linares dropped a decision to Devin Haney in 2021, and then suffered a pair of defeats in Russia to Zhora Hamazaryan and Zaur Abdullaev.

      Linares looks completely shopworn. He should retire. Had a very good career and fought the very best, he’ll only be used as a name for rising contenders from here on out.

            Linares one of my favorite fighters, enjoyed his skills, power and even vulnerability.

            As others have said, there is nothing else for him to prove. Hopefully he can leave the sport on his terms and relatively intact.

              Agree with the sentiments expressed. Big fan of Jorge, he has had a great career too. No one beats father time. Hang 'em up with dignity and pride!

                IMO he should retire, he had a very good run after the loss of Sergio Thompson, but I believe now its time to call it a career.
