Hey we all got our views , which is what makes a forum
I respect your opinion and have read many of your posts so I know you ain’t trolling and that’s how you feel
I think the talking down that came from Bud was afternoon a few attempts to make the fight
Let’s be realistic , Bud is a special character and I don’t think he’s the best business man out there
His way of saying oh well fughoff to Spence after multitude of times trying to make fight
But like I said before , looking at Big Al’s fighters I still believe the fault lies in the Spence campfor fight not happening sooner

Spence is absolutely right. Not only did he have to take this fight, he has to put on a great showing. Crawford's legacy has been in question up until this point because he has not faced many top fighters in his weight class.

Mayweather finished undefeated and he's not in my top 10, because in my opinion he avoided a few fighters down the stretch. He should've given Pacquiao a rematch but instead chose to fight lesser opponents like Berto and Guerrero.

Too bad that Crawford doesn't have the same mentality.

Crawford has had the chance to fight for another undisputed fight in another weight class. Don't know how that was not that important to him. Also he would had the possibility for the 154 if he and Charlo win their respective fights.

It looks like EJ made the right choice. This fight a real treat and gift for us boxing fans? Some say that it's a bit too late but I disagree. This is the fight to be made in boxing. It doesn't get any better than this.
Agree, wholeheartedly. Enough with the negativity. I'm glad the fight was made. Can you think of many other bigger fights than this one in the last ten years? Wonder what the PPV dollars and viewership will be. Out the roof, IMHO.

Only thing that comes to mind is Ward v Kov, Nelo v GGG, May v PAC. Those are the only fights that compare to this over that last ten years for me.

This is a throwback to a time when many posters weren't born but to me, this rivals the Hearns/Leonard, Hearns/Hagler and Leonard/Duran fights. Back then, if it wasn't on commercial TV, we all chipped in for a PPV fight and we'd be at a bros house to watch the fight and make a party of it.

Spence: We needed this fight, it's legacy. I don't want to fight nobody else

Crawford: I don't NEED Spence!! I Beat The Man That Beat The Man, I'm #1!!! Avanesyan, what's up??

Rematch a fight with a card that had 10 rounds to 2 ("Blowout!" -- Floyd Mayweather) and where Manny told Max Kellerman, basically, "if he'd stand still I could hit him doe!" ?

Instead now you got a multitude of excuses on either side ( accident vs age etc etc etc )
Oh well , big Al knows what he has done a la Mayweather see May vs Pac
How could have Spence fought Crawford; When every time Bud's contract was up he kept resigning with Top Rank? He knew full well in advance that the PBC held all the cards, belts and the largest stable of fighters at the welterweight division.

Doesn't sound like someone to eager to fight to me. It sounds like a man who traded both his legacy and honor for money; Which is why I believe that EJ will win this fight and he will win it convincingly because he wants it a lot more than Bud does.
