Both men have blame to pass around and blame to eat when it comes to why the fight never took place earlier. But this fight is NOT past its shelf life. Not even close. I’m ok with the fact that people think it shoulda coulda woulda happened earlier. But how much earlier? A year? 18 months? 2 years? I don’t really agree with that. But even then, how long is that in boxing terms? Not very long.

so I think we’re right on schedule for a prime fight that only happens once every decade or so. So let’s enjoy it. And not pick it apart to death

I would of liked it 2 years ago preferably, but I'll take it now. Two years ago, both guys were even more fresh, so there is that... It's still not as bad a Pac-Fraud where Pac was not himself anymore. At least both guys are going into this undefeated still, looked great in their last fights and have two of the most entertaining styles to watch in boxing.

While I think Crawford is probably a year away from looking spent, he should be awesome come fight night for this one.

Doesn't sound like someone to eager to fight to me. It sounds like a man who traded both his legacy and honor for money; Which is why I believe that EJ will win this fight and he will win it convincingly because he wants it a lot more than Bud does.
How does Spence want this fight so badly ?
You guys better all be here when Bud ****s your guy with victory

He wanted the fight to be made ASAP but like he now admits,

"They were trying to get me to fight other people."

My gut has always told me Crawford would win this fight. When Crawford moved up from 140, I was a huge fan and excited for all the fun coming our way as 147 was loaded.

While my gut still is telling me Crawford wins, I find my fandom doing a 180. I find Spence an easy guy to root for and Crawford to be aloof and kind of in his own world. Crazy how this sport works.

Just like flipping his Ferrari, if the fight with Crawford never took place it would be 'self inflicted in both cases.

He stalled, excused away this fight for so long, I will never be a fan of his again.
