Makhmudov is raw and wild and needs more maturity in his fights. He needs to step up and fight a couple of guys ranked 10-20 before moving up. Jared I think does not go beyond Hunter level and won't be able to compete against the upper-tier big guys.

      Makh vs. Hrgovic

If he wants to be Champ, he has to get past somebody like Hrgovic or Zhang.

Nobody in the top 10 will fight him, risk reward. How about Anderson? I think Big Mak runs over him.

Makh has something that many others don't have, and that's real one-punch, fight-ending power.

But he needs to perform well against a slick mover like Sanchez before he has any chance in a title fight.

I suspect they're prepping him to be Jared's eventual fight but I now have wuestions over Jared's chin.

Makhmudov would easily prevail over Anderson. Bigger stronger relentless and with a decent chin. He should be up with the top in the division.

Big Mak throws punches that are so hard, he only needs to connect one or twice to hurt his man. Did you see those uppercuts?! IMO, he is the hardest hitter in the game, not the much hyped Wilder and would take him out in less the 3 rounds.

He is ready for a title shot now. I double dare Fury to fight him. What he going to do hug him? That won't work vs. huge man who is strong as a bull.

The last time he went distance with Shaw.

He was brought in as an opponent to Stephen Shaw and the Nigerian thoroughly outboxed him in a very sedate affair.
