Maybe. I just am not a fan of fights like this when there are viable SMW or MW to fight. A JMW at SMW is just ridiculous.

I guess Haymon had to make the 1st fight one where Canelo looks outstanding to drive sales for the next 2.

The only value I see Doing JMW Charlo, MW Charlo and then Benavidez does allow PBC to make progressively better fights.

How much you want to put on that? Name your price.

Not hating on Mell for taking the fight, he get's a pay day, but still this means the belts at 154 are going to be held up again for another 6-12 months, given how often the Charlos fight.

this is actually only fair, canelo has been the guy doing all the moving, he moved up to 168 and made the fights, he actually moved up again to 175, can u believe it again, and made the fights, he was going to move again, unbelievably to cruiser and even again to heavy, now hes decided to stay put & make other guys move to him, makes perfect sense really

undisputed v undisputed, teo is watching this wetting himself, its given him a great idea, when he sorts out his greedy (ex) wife he comes back & puts his undisputed titles (yes he still has them (in his head that it)) on the line v charlos who still has his for a mega matchup that will cement his legacy in the sport for all time which noone can dispute

Damn! What a bait and switch? This fight is total and absolute bullshit! Jermell Charlo is a Super welterweight. The very least he could do is fight Jermell at 160.

I hope Alvarez knows that he is ruining his own legacy by fighting these limited and overmatched opponents; Where he has the obvious advantage. He should give us boxing fans at least one fight that we want to see for a change.

Unlike Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao; He doesn't care about legacy, honor and glory. Or about making us boxing fans happy by giving us the fights we want to see.

All he is concerned about is himself; By lining his pockets with the most amount of money for the least amount of risk possible. He is still avoiding and ducking the best challengers and opponents at the 168 lbs weight division.

Damn; Ive never seen or witnessed such cowardice by a prizefighter in my whole born life.

This is nothing, i have it on good authority that the charlos are planning that if the fight is not going well, the other charlo is on standby closeby all warmed up and ready to go, dressed and styled like the bro, they hit the power (this bit is yet to be fully worked out) & hey presto the fresh charlo ends up in the ring for the knackered one

The difference in weight between the two twins is not that big

2 weight division differences between Mell and Canelo, not 9 like Inoue. Lol
