Brian Custer said this was in the works for a while as well so that means Charlo's hand was fine for a while but he decided to wait out for a possible Canelo payday instead of rescheduling the Tsyzu fight.
If Tszyu had the opportunity to face Canelo, he wouldn't even be thinking about Jermell.

No, he's betting on himself, and believes he can beat the face of boxing that avoided him at 154.

Mell is going to surprise you. He has everything in his toolbox to beat Cinnabon, which is the reason Ginger avoided him at 154. His stamina is going to be the major difference, and once he gasses Cinnabon, the beats will turn up.

Even if it is two weight classes, in this modern era of boxing under the day before weigh in rule 'Jermell Charlo is only going to be stronger at the higher weights. It is easier to move up through the weight classes physiologically and behavioral training wise than it is to move down in a weight class'.

Alvarez is no monster at 168 pounds. Alvarez started his career competing at 147 pounds 'Alvarez has pumped himself up to the higher weight classes. Which is unusual behavior in my opinion 'For a fighter in this modern era, or any boxing era in the lower weight classes'.

I don't rate Alvarez as a monster in terms of brute strength at 168 pounds, fighters such as Carl Froch and Joe Calzaghe would of out competed him in that department.

Note: I would back Alvarez to win the fight, but I don't think it is a bad match up etc.

Look at what he did to both of them after his fighting level was questioned. They both went to sleep!!!

What the hell was racist about what I stated? It just shows your perspective when you watch fights. For you, its not about the skillset of the fighter, but his ethnicity.

                • going down 2 weight classes is actually very dangerous for canelo and his fans who think all the guys down there are bigger than him, in fact i dont think canelo should even go near 147 and spence, who is a big 147 guy and taller than ginger too, bit of a mismatch really

mandatory. They won't strip him. If Tszyu was able to get the Cinnabon fight, he would do the same thing. Charlo is going to put the beats on Tim after he smokes Canelo.
Jermell is not smoking anyone at 168, let alone Canelo. He's never fought at 160, let alone 168. So after this fictional win over Canelo at 168, Jermell is coming back down to 154? I doubt that. This is a cash-out move, nothing more. He's getting the bag Jermall is too emotionally distraught to get. Jermell won't even care about losing the fight after Canelo because his bank account will be set.
