He has fought Wilder already, Ruiz priced himself out, Joshua ain't willing to fight next, already beat Whyte. So, that leaves Sanchez as the highest-rated opponent he can fight, followed by Arsalanbek, Martin, Zhan, Otto, and Joseph (who he won't fight). If it is not theatrics, like fighting a retired boxer or multiple fights in one night, it could be Bakole in Africa which they will label as Rumble in the Jungle 2 or Zhan in Abu Dhabi. Remember that the Middle East also got competition and Saudis aren't the only ones in the business.
Bakole in Africa is an interesting suggestion.

It’s probably going to be the Ngannou freak show fight.

The promising heavyweight division has turned to complete sh1t.

You can't strip a lineal boxing title. The WBC found that out when they threatened long time champion Larry Holmes years ago, when Holmes opted against their contender Greg Page. It didn't stop Holmes from being the one and only Champion, but it legitimized a new sanctioning body when Holmes dumped his WBC belt and took the IBF's. Same thing would happen with Fury.

Although Francis Ngannou IS a background Boxer who applies it to MMA rules (As is his predecessor Stipe Miocic), his are not top 50 skills at this point.

The only way this would be interesting is under hybrid rules.

A crossover of a decent boxer has already been done, when 50ish Ray Mercer KOd 2-time UFC champion Tim Sylvia in nine seconds under full MMA rules.
Toney vs. Couture was a sham.

This is the same guy who's been reduced to begging contenders to pay him for sparring... What a clown. And there's people bagging on Wilder, but at least he defended the belt. This guy is the main reason so many of the big fights fell through. Nothing but talk and pulling out.

is that the one where Toney got booted in the leg a thousand times until he collapsed? If it was then I remember seeing that. Was a sad watch. I didn't know about Mercer thanks for the info.
