I think Wilder is a twatwaffle but he does have a point. People tune in to watch him either flatten someone or hope to see him get flattened. Ruiz had his 15 minutes of fame. He decided to party, get fat & collect a fat check in the rematch with Joshua instead of trying to start a run at the top. Now his wife took everything he has left & Ruiz has been pretty inactive. He beat 2 washed up former contenders & has become a non factor. I don’t see the Saudis calling him offering a contract. He should take the offer & make it count. His value isn’t anywhere what he thinks it is. Wilder signed with the same Saudi promoter Usyk did. Ruiz is an idiot if he actually turned down Fury & Wilder fights. He needs to tell his old man to STFU.

You're not wrong about this. Whether someone is a Ruiz hater or not, they shouldn't disagree with you lol....

The fact that he went life and death against Arreola is a HORRIBLE look. I don't give a **** if that was his first fight since the loss to Joshua. Ortiz wasn't exactly a horrible opponent because Ortiz does have skill. But his victory over that version of Ortiz isn't anything to celebrate. He doesn't seem to wanna fight at all. He should have had at least two fights by now whether it was some low ranked fighter or not. I really don't think Andy wants to fight at all.

Wilder knocked those 3 guys out a total of 4 times and all 3 of them were younger than when Ruiz got them.

Lmao Deontay thinks hes the Sht huh ...this guy has been put to sleep out cold before not Andy, its true the mexican will be sitting on a TnT barrel for 36min or less but if he catches him with a lightning hand and chin checks him, that fat T rex could leave another dent on his head and no AJ fight in SA.

Better not sleep on the Fatboy lol.

After seeing the fights against Arreola and Ortiz, Andy's team know what's coming against Wilder, so they want to make the most (money) out of it.

One win does not a resume make. Wilder also beat a reigning titlist in Stiverne (ranked in the top 4 by TRBB and Ring), then beat him in 1 round in the rematch. Meanwhile, Wilder's only losses were to Fury in lineal title fights while Ruiz got beat by bum ass Joe Parker for a vacant belt that was stripped from Fury.

And let's go even deeper than Stivene/Joshua and the names in common (Arreola/Ortiz/Liakhovich). Who's next best for Andy? Dimitrenko? Kevin Johnson? Devin Vargas? Wilder's resume is pretty thin but Breazeale, Szpilka, Duhaupas, Washington, and even old man Helenius are better than freaking Vargas and Johnson.

I get it, heavyweight is a trash division. Not one guy in the division has 5 good wins. But to say that Ruiz has the better resume is nuts. He easily could've lost that Ortiz fight and Ortiz was so shot he could barely stand up. Boxing Scene scored it 113-112 Ortiz despite 3 knockdowns. And this is a full 5 years after Wilder knocked him out the first time.
