Ruiz is apparently thinking 30% is too little.

the odds are stacked against Ruiz. he has 80% chance of losing this fight and it won't be like Joshua, it would be on his back.

so knowing this as a 5'11 dude..... you know ur selling urself to a ferocious KO. why would you do it for less than 50%?

If he wins he would become the next in line for a title shot.
That guy is a ranging idiot please ignore him. Im hardly on here but when I am I always see his idiotic post and feel pity for him.

That depends which Fury turns up and what tactics he uses.

A fit and focused Fury, boxing at range like he did against Whyte, would outbox Andy and beat him easily on points. The flabby, over-confident Fury who turned up for the Wilder trilogy, using the same bullying tactics against Ruiz, would be in for a tough night and might even suffer the same fate as AJ in his first fight with fat Andy.

That's apples and oranges. Helenius is not equal to Ortiz. If you want to compare PPV, Wilder did 250K PPV against Ortiz. When WBC had to decide the split between Fury and Whyte, they used their last purses to do so. Wilder's been making a lot more than Ruiz. Besides, I would say Wilder has other potential options for big paydays in his career. I do not see anyone calling out Ruiz. It is a similar story to AJ vs Whyte. AJ didn't even do PPV but that doesn't make it 50-50. I don't think Whyte is getting even 30% of the split but is willing to take it because he knows he has few other options. I don't think Ruiz gets a better option as of now if he declines this but it is up to him (or maybe his father) to decide what they want. Or just go to WBC and have the purse split sorted out.

Wilder vs Joshua is the fight everyone is anticipating right now. AJ vs Whyte and Wilder vs Ruiz would be the icing but the cake remains Wilder vs Joshua even if these fights do not go through.

There is no A side in Wilder -Ruiz. Wilder being Fury`s victim doesn`t mean he is better than Ruiz. I am pretty sure Ruiz beats all the bums Wilder beat for WBC belt.
