just because i prefer fighters more than boxers doesn't mean i don't appreciate the technicalities of the sport. srl, whitaker, hearns, barrera, etc are all considered technical boxers, and yet they still bring intensity with them.

to simplify things, whenever i watch pac/cotto/barrera/hagler fights i can't help but yell "HOLY ****" "WHAT THE FCKKK.." "DAAAMN", as opposed to "nice counter" "...." "......" "nice potshot" "good fight" when watching most pbf fights. does this mean i'm not a real boxing fan?

basically you're saying that if i want action to happen i should just go watch MMA?

Boxing is sweet science. Floyd's style is boxing. Pac's style is boxing. Bhop, mosley, cotto, trinidad, sweet pea, finito lopez, even Tyson Fury's style is boxing. Real fans of boxing appreciates any style provided it is effective and within the rules as set in the boxing ring. Pac's punches are more often not rudimentary but it's still under boxing. Pbf's hybrid punch that KD Jmm is also not conventional.

Don't confuse Boxing with the Boxing style as performed by Pbf. That would be called "PBF cult"

Personally, I hate owning my turtles. I wish I had never gotten them. They cost significant money to maintain, which I really don't mind, but they give nothing in return.

They are truly wild animals and should never have been domesticated as pets. I hate them yet I care for them with such dilligence because I can't bear to think they are suffering.

They are truly the worst pet imaginable, something that only lives to eat and ****, fouling the water and responding to you only with fear.

I hate turtles, yet I can't bear to get rid of them. Just today I spent a half hour cleaning their ****, cleaning the filter...

God, it's so much more difficult than taking care of a dog. I bought the best heater, filter, UVA/UVG light, etc etc, it's never enough.

NEVER EVER GET TURTLES I'M SHACKLED TO THESE PRICKS FOR THE NEXT 30 YEARS AND I'M TOO MUCH OF ***** TO KILL THEM OR THROW THEM IN A LAKE.

I might snap one day and murder them, but for now I take care of them with great resentment.

I only posted this to discourage expats from getting turtles as pets.

        They really, really suck
        two words... turtle soup.

It will be interesting to see what their excuses will be a year and a half from now after May clears out the WW division and their "he only fights smaller fighters" arguement doesnt work anymore. My guess is they'll hop on Mayweathers nuts and act like they were fans of him the whole time.
Clean out the WW division you say? GREAT! That's exactly what we want to see. I will believe it when it happens, though.

Man, I am waiting to be a fan of Mayweather. Seriously. I have waited a good few years now and I'm still not a fan. I can see he has some great skills, but who is he testing himself against right now? Blown up featherweights who were being rocked at lightweight from guys who are not even known to be hard hitters, that's who. Marquez kicks ass, but only at 130 and below, and this became glaringly obvious when he moved to lightweight and fought Diaz. Carrying 20lbs of fat up to Welterweight is never gonna cut it against a guy with far better reach, a height advantage, better speed, and a body of solid muscle that's comfortable at Welterweight. Bless Marquez for trying.

See what I just said? "Bless him for trying". In other words, I have gained respect for Marquez for taking a risk and at least trying to be the greatest he can be. Despite the fact that he lost a lopsided decision, I respect him more than I did already, which was a hell of a lot.

The problem with Floyd is all the talk for the last few years has been hot air. Yeah, Floyd keeps telling me how brilliant he is, that he's up there with the likes of Robinson and Ali, and I'd love to believe it... but where is the proof? You can't just pull the wool over the boxing fans' eyes and claim to be the best without doing ****, because we're not all gullible idiots.

When Floyd is ready to step up, I'll be ready to be a fan and give props. He needs to earn respect, it isn't just given away for free.

So you believe that PBFs style and PACs style equally the same in terms of "boxing purity" if you will. I cant understand any similarities you would find in the two styles they encompass, care to explain?

Yes. I believe that. You cannot find similarities in them but you will find them both effective. Which is why I'm a fan of both. Pac on the offensive end, while Pbf on the defensive end. Both are complete in my opinion.

If pac is very bad on the defensive end, care to explain why for the last 3 fight he was not even scathed? You can say weight-drained, overrated opponents but he was never in trouble in all 3 fights. If you can say all this excuses against pac, you should also say those excuses for jmm, hatton against pbf ( hattom--****ty at WW, jmm -- bloated SFW ).

We can go on and on justifying pbf's exploits on being defensive, but he values accuracy over volume, defense over offense. Which is why his workrate drop on JWW and up. But there is no denying his ability to pour out combinations should he choose to risk more.

So now you know my reasons, how about yours?

I think he is, especially when the media hyped him up and influenced people.

                      How about Guinea Pigs?

All they do is eat, ****, and whistle when they hear bags or someone opens up the fridge. If they smell lettuce they go crazy.

Patrick and Sandy drive me nuts, the stink up the whole living room in about 3-4 days after i change their bedding.

I hate those two but i love them at the same time. Their so fat, furry and peaceful. I just can't give them away. I heard they last about 6-7 years so *** it i'll keep them and cherish those furry little animals until they die. I bought them last summer so i guess i have about 6 summers left to go with them.

I also have a little kitty, looks like Sylvester the Cat. Always sticking it's claws inside the guinea pigs cage so i gotta keep an eye on them. I keep the cage close to my computer. Sandy gets it the worse cause she has to run from the Kitty and Patrick(Patrick is always tryn'a bone her).
