To get the kind of recognition Pac gets you have to beat great people. Pac has done that. The whos who in actual fact. The names Pac has fought and beat are more famous than the ones PBF beat earlier in pBFs career.

Noone saying pac has absolutely everything in his arsenal. But did Ali? Ali never body punched, but that hasnt harmed his reputation has it? So how can Pacs reputation be considered overated? Pac is given the credit people think he deserves. Just like people give ali the respect they think he deserves.

Another poster critisized Floyd's style because it's not as flashy as Pac's so i merely broke down why Floyd's style is so respected and entertaining to the educated boxing fan. You're trying to start a debate with me where there isnt one.

Right, because coming back after a 2 year hiatus to fight the #2 ranked P4P fighter in the world is really playing it safe.

That whole weight issue is a cop out anyways and it shows how soft boxing fans are today. Here's some boxing trivia for you: Did Sugar Ray Robinson cry like a girl and make excuses about his weight after he moved from WW to MW and got beat by Jake Lamotta for the first time in his career, or like the champion he was did he rise past all that, come back stronger and go onto beat Lamotta 5 times?

But hatton, overrated by some, IMO is really an overachiever given his style. He went on to win the lineal against one of my fave boxer kostya with nothing more than a hit and hold technique. Then, losing only to 2 P4P kings. So much respect to Hatton.

True, he did defeat a lineal champ but Kostya was clearly way past him prime at that point.So with that being his best win it makes me wonder why he got so much praise. And yes I was also surprised he got along so far with such a barbaric style. I think he was exposed against Collazo. So if you ask me hes the most overrated fighter in atleast the last 10 yrs.

I don't think it was so much Hatton exposed as his style was exposed. Hatton relies on the ability to mug and pressure his opponents with superior strength, and at welterweight he can't do that.

If this was a couple years ago before Mayweather exposed him and took his soul i'd agree that Hatton is the most overrated, but yeah he's fallen off in the publics eye since then. In todays boxing world there's nobody more overrated then Pac. In a years time after he gets the Ricky Hatton treatment and gets knocked off the make believe pedestal his fans put him on you'll all see what i mean.
