I don't know what's happening. Last week it was Spence, now it's Charlo. Why only now after many decades is very unusual. They want to have their bread and jam and eat it.

Strange part is they won't fight without titles on the line, they won't fight others without titles, now that they have titles, they're complaining. Titles allow them to have bargaining power in negotiations, they won't run out of fight with titles, not to mention the accolades that go with it.

Why not vacate them and become Mike Tyson superstar level or guys that have made it without titles?

The biggest problem is that almost all the money is ****** up by a handful of fighters at the top. If you really did form a Union, I would think that one of the effects would be that guys like Charlo would end up making less so the lower echelons could make a little more.

Does Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks or Denzel give up money so that the other actors can get more? Man quit saying ****** ****!

Spence was dying to get his first title shot years ago. He laser-focused on a title owned by Kell Brook, who at that time was nursing a serious orbital bone injury incurred in the Golovkin fight. And it was apparent it would take months to heal, but Spence's team and his fans kept pounding on the door absolutely disregarding Brooks's injury.

Spence won't even entertain taking interim fights. In the end Brook succumbed to pressures and thus a predictable sad ending for him.

You don't need no union, u punk ass mofo. U need to fight, and stop holding the belts hostage. Y'all PBC chumps are the most inactive mofos there is in boxing. All y'all do over there is hold belts hostage and u call it a long title reign

That's the most logical thing to do and stop complaining.

It doesn't work that way. SAG members' compensation is already baked into the budget as part of production costs. So yes, in a sense the big stars do get a little less money than they would if every other actor on the set was getting short changed. What these stars make is based on a formula of what production costs will be, against what the predicted gross revenue will be.

The same principle would apply to the headliners of a PPV card.

Unions should only be for the lower echelon guys who can't even afford to have extensive training programs going into the fight. That's why their chances of not getting showcased is very slim.

How about all the sanctioning bodies and promotors getting rich off these guys be required to chip in towards some sort of mandatory education on things like finance, investing, etc? These guys earn MORE than enough money to be putting some of it away or investing it for a rainy day instead of living a constant Louis Vuitton, Gucci wrapped Bentley, piss it all away lifestyle and there's nothing left as soon as they stop fighting. Or better yet, take some responsibility and educate yourself and plan ahead rather than CONSTANTLY placing the blame everywhere else.

There's no mention of his tuneup fight, I assume.
