Yea if people think that we should just let Saudi take over all boxing because they "got that bag" then we should just let the NFL put all their regular season games and the playoffs / Super Bowl over there...Let the NBA and MLB put the playoffs and World series over there because they "got that bag". While we're at it let the U.K. and the rest of Europe put all their soccer games and championships over there because "they got that bag". GTFOH!! These are OUR sports and they will only thrive in their respective countries. The 'fake Saudi boxing crowd' will soon dissipate because there is no natural connection to the sport. Boxing is only relevant in North America and the UK....PERIOD!!!

Why should they? They have been respectful to boxers and have put on a couple of good fights. They have the money to make **** happen. If you don't want them to take over boxing, blame it on current promotions going cheap, lowballing and disrespecting fighters. Fighters will go where the most $$$ is, like it or not.

Las Vegas will be fine. They don't need to worry about the Saudis. This is a flash in the pan. The PGA royally screwed up because the NYC 9/11 families are on their azz and this relationship is going to fail bigtime in the end.

Also fighting in front of the most unappreciative 'fans' makes the atmosphere seem like they fighting in the covid days. It's a ****ing sham. Real boxing fans can't get to Saudi to support their guy.
Remember watching that Usyk Joshua fight? Should of been to a sold out Wembley or buzzing Vegas, instead you got this cricket event.
But we do have the opportunity to fight back against that.

If the orgs enforce their mandatories. If the promoters and TV companies actively try to make good fights. If boxing can actually come together to improve the situation.

There's a boxing establishment who have been moving the sport in exactly the direction you say Saudi will do.

It's produced fewer big fights and has shrunk the number of eyes on the sport. They could have done the opposite and instead grown the sport.

The difference now is that they will absolutely need to change approach. The Saudis will force the issue.

I’ve gotten wind that the Saudi’s are looking to start some new .org , showing total support to the boxers
They’ve got the money and it seems the balls to pursue this plan
From my understanding this will begin there Saudi Arabia and eventually it will try world domination
They aren’t ****** rich cause of ignorance and they damn know well that conquering the market will only happen if they spread the wrath around
I’d gladly support it if this is what it takes to get rid of the fughin orgs and return boxing to a decent state
They know that by making the big fights and also the intriguing ones , they can get the sport back on track and make loads of money

So let's get it done. Fury vs Usyk, Wilder vs Joshua, winner vs winner.
Winner vs Winner is still 3 time loser or 2 time loser. Beating eachother shouldn't bypass the line.

Plus, who wants to see Usyk/AJ III? How about Wilder/Fury IV?

I'd rather watch AJ vs Usyk III or Wilder vs Fury IV than watch Zhang struggle not to die on his feet from being out of shape or watch Hrogvic or Joyce lose to him.

Heavyweight is a wasteland and I think everybody outside Usyk, Fury, and Wilder straight up sucks. That includes Joshua and Ruiz, but at least I can remember a time when they didn't suck. Zhang, Hrgovic, DuBois, and Joyce would love to be has-beens but they're more like never-gonnas.

Remember how great it was for boxing when Haymon came in with a billon dollars to blow?

and how about when Eddie Hearn sunk another cool billion into the sport?

How great was that! How many great fights did we get??

Oh yeah.... it was actually terrible for the sport.

If you pay a guy a million dollars to fight D+ and C- fighters... that's all he's going to fight. That's all anyone's gonna fight.

The UFC, women's boxing, and sub-130 lbs men's boxing are the places were you see everyone fight everyone. Why? Cause they're fighting in unifications for 400k, 600k. Very good money, but not enough that you can be a multi-millonaire if you duck all the good fighters in your division.

No good will come of this.

Oh shit . . that's gonna be crazy . . . Usyk will need to be at his most slippery to avoid those death blows. . . a weird clash of styles and a must-see fight.
