Comments Thread For: Report: Deontay Wilder to Join Saudi Arabia's Skill Challenge Promotions; Devin Haney on the Verge of Signing As Well

An upstart in Saudi Arabia continues to beef up its presence in boxing. Their latest gambit could involve contractual rights on one of the biggest heavyweight punchers of the last decade. Deontay Wilder, the former heavyweight titlist from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, has reportedly agreed to terms with Skill Challenge Promotions, a new promotional entity based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to a report by Declan Warrington of Pro Box TV.

As long as you don't talk negatively about the Prince in public, you should leave Saudi with all your limbs intact.

That pretty much guarantees that Wilder vs Usyk will happen if Fury vs Usyk doesn't get done. Wilder and Usyk with the same promotional company is big.

So let's get it done. Fury vs Usyk, Wilder vs Joshua, winner vs winner.

Well looks like the Saudis have worked out how to cut costs and make the money. As someone in the mix once said, Game Changed. Looks like it really is now.

Next steps buy MSG and ESPN

That would be great but It's not a tournament, the Saudis have told us repeatedly.
It's just 2 fight's, one hopefully for undesputed.
After that Hrgovic & Zhang/Joyce are next in line.

Let's hope the Saudis sign everyone including the belts & scrap them all together.
Give boxing a structure again, no more cherry picking belt holder's or promoter's blocking fight's.

I, for one, will kindly take Mr Abadallah at his word that his "brother" Kinahan is not involved whatsoever in Skill Challenge Promotions.
