Who is the better pure boxer out of Whitaker and Floyd

Floyd is all around better to me at this point. Sweet pea was chasing public approval and moved up way to high in weight and then was robbed twice that are real travesty's and the drug problem hurt him down the stretch. What makes Floyd so dangerous is that he is a little like alot of ATG fighters and his defense is just as good as Whitakers to me. Floyd is more patient and effective overall to me. I have complete respect for Whitaker as well he is one of my favorite fighters of all time and if he was still active a fight with him and Floyd would be a great match up no question.

I feel like a right lemon not having watched a single Whitaker fight in my lifetime. Can someone recommend for me a fight where he dazzles people with his skills? I want to go "Whoa!" and stuff - doesn't matter if it's a decision or a stoppage, although one of each would be cool. I just want to be amazed.

Actually, yeah, give me his best decision and best stoppage (as long as they can be found on here). Prime, obviously.

I rate them like this..........Whitaker is better inside, he is better from mid range but Mayweather is better from long range. Whitaker is a better counter puncher though.

Floyd is great in the pocket.. he can fight in and out.

People who say Floyd is better clearly haven't watched pernell's fights, and are idiots, probably just basing ability on one thing... the record, which is unbelmished... Due to floyd's inability to fight proper proper welterweights Don't mean to be harsh but thats the way it is...

I've watched almost every fight of both fighters, im sure many on this forum have. They will say Pernell. Hands down.

get the **** out of here----you act is ifpea was never caught with a punch---floyd's fluidity was way more sharper than pea's was---and for those who say floyd didn't fight good in the pocket---shame on you dumb fools...just watch the n'dou fight---the jukko fight---the corley fight--the tony pep fight---the chavez fight---flod fough better in the pocket than swee pea did and he was by far the better counterpuncher---floyd fought way better off of the ropes also---actually countering better off of the block---pea would dazzle you with his upperbody movement, but floyd could shoulder roll and then counter you off of the block--ask gerena and mitchell...if you look at heir styles and put a floyd mayweather junior highlight in this thread, not just pea's then you'll see just how much sharper and more natural floyd was overall in every aspect---not just having more power and speed---but just how fluid his movement was and ring generalship---floyd was the purer boxer by far and overall better fighter over pea---and would have beaten pea---mark my words...he had better timig on his offense and came from the defense to the offense better than pea did--and i have all of pea's and mayweather's fights, so don't try me ****ers....
