Floyd looks the much faster of the two.

Whitaker vs Paez was a good fight. Perhaps not one of Whitaker's best performances since Paez did not allow him to look too good with his unorthodox and aggressive style as well as frequent showboating... Even Whitaker came second place in that respect.

12 round schooling of Greg Haugen:

Haugen was outclassed in every dimension...too bad his wife had to witness him get a boxing lesson

No doubt. Haugen used to trash talk his opponents then get beat.

I am partial to Sweet Pea but I think they are pretty close in skill level. Sweet Pea had a good offense but I like his defensive displays way more than Floyd's. I think that Floyd is more effective than Pernell and has a better hook. Sweet Pea had a better body attack by far.

Easy to fight long range when you select opponents with limited reach... Valid point non the less...

Sweet Pea, won gold. Not bronze. Didn't duck anybody. De La Hoya too ***** to rematch him, KO percentage means nothing. Sweet pea enjoyed making you suffer...

Pernell, easily one of the best. I cherish my signed glove...

They have different style. I think they are almost the same. Well Sweet Pea likes to fight inside while Floyd likes to fight outside. But i think Sweet Pea's fight are more interesting to watch than floyd.

Zab Judah, DeMarcus Corley... N'dou... Even Marquez all got a good shot in... Literally off the top of my head...

People who say Floyd is better clearly haven't watched pernell's fights, and are idiots, probably just basing ability on one thing... the record, which is unbelmished... Due to floyd's inability to fight proper proper welterweights Don't mean to be harsh but thats the way it is...

I've watched almost every fight of both fighters, im sure many on this forum have. They will say Pernell. Hands down.
