Do people really believe porter didn't train for the crawford fight and his dad threw in the towel to punish porter?

This is the most absurd excuse i've seen from bud haters. A guy who's been a pro for over a decade at the highest level didn't train for the best p4p fighter in the world and his dad threw in the towel to stop porter from winning the fight. You guys ever thing that maybe just maybe he knew his son was done and didn't want him to be a highlight reel after getting dropped twice in the same rd? Once spence gets his ass whooped i can already hear the excuses coming.

Spence was no longer the same after the accident. Prime spence beats bud. Bud foguht no one ahhahahahaha

The Spence Porter was a lot better version than what Bud beat, for whatever reason no doubt about it.

      It's definitely crazy.
Maybe it's how he beats them that make doubters tgeir be different role in the fight.

Once Bud got told he was down on the cards he turned it up.
Spence in for some lessons in gears.

That excuse has crossed my mind I can’t lie but I will give Bud his flowers if he defeats Spence. However, I am of the opinion Porter definitely didn’t train as hard as usual training camps as he admitted . Not to mention Porter has been floored by Broner and Spence it’s perfectly normal to see him on the canvas. He exerted a lot of effort ****ing his fists on the canvas in annoyance, both him and his dad didn’t want to continue if throughout camp you have retirement on your mind I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did

Spence has a automatic transmission ,when that bell rings the same pace is kept. He will keep Crawford in Gear 2 for the entire fight.......I hope

Numerous fighters went on record saying that Kenny Porter pulled rank on his son.

Porter himself said that at no point did his dad give him any hint of stopping the fight.

Alternate camera shows the second trainer trying to stop Kenny from doing it.

Immediately after, Kenny runs over to BoMac and says, quote, "you see my smile?" while smiling.

Kenny in the post fight straight up admitted that Shawn didn't train correctly.

Rumors that Kenny had placed a large bet on his son to lose by stoppage.

                Too much smoke, brother.

IDK, IMHO that towel throw in was questionable AF though ................

Not in this one Porter had one foot in retirement, and its as rare as hen's teeth that a fighter performs at his better in his retirement fight after a long career, I remember thinking early in that fighter that Porter don't look right.
