Do people really believe porter didn't train for the crawford fight and his dad threw in the towel to punish porter?

It was the same ****ing guy! Just because Spence had a harder time and a closer fight doesn’t mean that Porter aged 20 years between fights

You guys ever thing that maybe just maybe he knew his son was done and didn't want him to be a highlight reel after getting dropped twice in the same rd? Once spence gets his ass whooped i can already hear the excuses coming.

Spence was no longer the same after the accident. Prime spence beats bud. Bud foguht no one ahhahahahaha
Huh? He threw in the towel cause he saw his son was getting his a-ss whipped. Porter already had in his mind he wanted to retire AND MORE THAT THAT. HE DID. So it wasn’t just hearsay. I always liked bud at 135 but Spence is really a huge welterweight who should have been fighting 154 years ago. I think he would do well at 160.

I think poppa Porter threw in the towel because his son was just knocked down twice in the span of 30 seconds by possibly the best and most violent finisher in the sport. This isn't rocket science.

I actually think Porter looked better in some regards in the Crawford fight. Not as reckless, didn't smother his work so much and did a good job of changing his timing up.

I don't know if he trained or not but watching him talk before the fight you'd think the guy was ready to die in the ring, once in the ring he fought like a coward..no heart, no will to try..nothing!! His will to fight was gone way before the Bud fight, that's for sure.

We don't have to have these pathetic fcking arguments anymore about which version of their common opponents were better.

they are going to finally fight. After they fight we can have new pathetic fcking arguments about either Spence's car accident affecting him or Crawford's age affecting him.

                Of course he trained

Porter isn't making 147 without training. Physically he was in shape. Maybe he had one eye on retirement.

Anyway, apart from the towel, how did it differ from most of Porters big fights? Hes been competitive and come up short in most.

Same person different night, not the same fighter, it happens to just about everyone at the tail of their career, just because you fail to see it, look at the both fights at the same time one round then one round, then tell me Porter is the same fighting version.

On that 2nd knockdown Porter was hurt more than he tries to let on.

Pounding the canvas with his fist was an instinctive reaction out of frustration but soon after that you can tell he is hurt. It takes him a while to push his upper body off the canvas to the point where he even starts sliding around a bit and has to steady his balance before he stands up.

I think his Dad made the right call in stopping it there. As for the other post fight comments, that was not needed.
