Do people really believe porter didn't train for the crawford fight and his dad threw in the towel to punish porter?

Still styles makes fights. That version of Porter would still fight spence the same way, and that is to rugged him up. All of floyd’s opponents have great workrates but when they fight him they tend to box and punch 300 punches lower. Crawford was able to put the pace he wanted against Porter. Horn also tried against Pac, but boxed against Crawford. For what it’s worth I think both fights are very very close and I give porter a lot of credit for that. Both guys were not head and shoulders above him.

Porter stated at the post fight press conference he was retiring win lose or draw.
That tells me he already had one foot out the door and it may have affected his training habits.
He was just above a gate keeper in his best days and was older and coming off a year layoff.
Its clear the Porter that Crawford fought was far from his best version.
