I don't know where everyone gets this idea that commentary is supposed to be unbiased - ESPN has made no such commitment to that style of broadcasting.
What about journalistic integrity? It’s color commentary just call the fight.

I want to say I agree with you based on pure numbers but my brain says no Teo may have the better resume and belts to boot. The big win being Loma but then you have Commey, Magdelano, Menard, and Nakatani. Teo is only 25. According to the Bradley scale he could be HOF at this point.

I have to rewatch the JMM fight but I don’t remember that being an easy walk in the park. Also JMM was on the wrong side of the hill and was out of the ring almost a year before the Bradley fight.

Its not a lie don't pay attention to all the cheerleading for Bradley by the commentators, it was a fight where Bradley was more active and Marquez was more accurate.

I think Bud is a great fighter but he’s disposition early on in the Spence negotiations left a little bad taste in my mouth. As if he didn’t need to take the Spence fight and he was already a HOF fighter. In Bud’s defense he’s already been undisputed so it’s hard to argue against him but the business of boxing becoming more than the opponents, records etc. (Personal note Indongo was never high on my list and that win definitely didn’t age well. Indongo took a few L’s. Legit fell from the sky was hard to imagine him with a belt or a real threat)

There is always these “what if” matchups but I feel like this class of fighters will have so many what if’s which makes the HOF even more easier to measure too. If the best fought the best then we wouldn’t have so much debate.
I'd rather see fighters assessed on not just their results, not just who they thought but also WHEN they fought them - for example Spence's win over a prime Kell Brook is a lot better win than Bud's over a shot version of Brook. Much more of this rather than ONLY assessing what belts they won. Look at Romero winning the wba 140lb belt - makes a mockery of belts and all other beltholders

Bradley definitely belongs in the hall of fame. The Devin Alexander fight at the time was equivalent to Spence Crawford. The two best guys at the weight where it was truly viewed as a 50/50 fight. Bradley rose to the occasion and separated himself. He beat everyone.

He whooped Nate Campbell in 3 rounds right after he beat an undefeated Juan Díaz. He gave Lamont Peterson (a very good fighter) his first L. Besides Mayweather, Tim Bradley is the only other guy to make JMM look like a bum.

Bradley was elite level. His only loss was to Pacquiao (who is an ATG)

Who are all these fighters that accomplished more than Bradley and should be in the HOF?

That just means your brain isn't working properly. Devon Alexander, Lamont Peterson, Junior Witter, Juan Manuel Marquez, are all better fighters than anyone Teofimo has beaten outside of Lomachenko.Jesse Vargas alone is better than most of the fighters Lopez has beaten. The only big win on Lopez resume is Lomachenko and there is nothing special about Commey or the other fighters you mentioned. You can't leave out the loss to Kambosos either.

The only fighter to beat Bradley was Pacquiao. I don't think I need to explain the difference between Pacquiao and Kambosos.
