Much more of this rather than ONLY assessing what belts they won. Look at Romero winning the wba 140lb belt - makes a mockery of belts and all other beltholders
1000% agree with you! Timing of fight, when losses occurred matter to me as well! Kell took some devastating losses(two eyes) before the Bud fight.
I heard Bud mention the Kell Brooks debate and I was lost how could he even consider that the same Kell.

The only big win on Lopez resume is Lomachenko and there is nothing special about Commey or the other fighters you mentioned. You can't leave out the loss to Kambosos either.

The only fighter to beat Bradley was Pacquiao. I don't think I need to explain the difference between Pacquiao and Kambosos.
First I was being a bit tongue and cheek about HOF for Teo but Bradley still doesn’t make sense to me. I didn’t understand why Teo comments on Bradley became a comparison for him to be HOF currently. but
Looking at Teo’s record he could make a case based on Bradley’s entry. Teo only 25 he has some time but I’m definitely not trying to measure him for HOF.

To Bradley case, Junior lost every time he stepped up. I remember that being something but definitely didn’t age well.
I like the Peterson win but JMM was almost a year out of the ring. Marquez had already mentioned retirement lightly. Bradley threw a lot more but JMM was way more precise.
I think your just highlight watching versus really watching that fight. Definitely didn’t make him look average by no means.
The Devin fight at the time was something but that win didn’t exactly age well enough to make Bradley HOF.
To think about it now, Teo has somewhat similar resume as some of his wins outside of Loma didn’t age well, Commey being one. Magdelano was on a roll before that loss if I’m not mistaken.

I understand everybody has a different measuring stick but TO ME, Bradley left the gate open for so many to plead a case. Teo was undisputed/ unified champ depending on how you view it. According to Bud that’s enough for HOF now.

Sidenote: Personally Teo was unified only because Haney was also champ and Devin just beat Loma so that solidified his stance that Teo had to beat him first to be undisputed. WBC really messed that up with franchise champ nonsense.

Brook was competitive with Bud for a few rounds then Bud figured him out and it was good night. Against Spence he was undefeated and a handful up until that point - he beat an undefeated Porter who had been a heavy favourite pre fight and posters on here were saying Porter was the new coming - then they became very quiet

Moreover the first fight against Manuel Marquez wasn't a draw, Pacquiao won that fight as well, scoring 3 knockdowns in the process.
I hated seeing Pacquiao getting cheated in those fights, he was a special fighter, and one of the greatest fighters in the annuals of boxing's history.

Now back to subject of this post, although Tim Bradley was a hell of a fighter in his day, but he's not an unbiased commentator.
He doesn't always call the fight the way it's actually taking place in the ring, and for that very reason he shouldn't be a commentator.

Teofimo Lopez should be concentrating on his up coming fight against Josh Taylor, who I believe is going to put a serious hurting on him on Saturday.
Criticizing Tim Bradley, and Andre Ward, isn't going to help Teofimo Lopez Jr., one iota before, during, or after his fight against Josh Taylor.
What's up hermano? Was on my 1st cruise, and only saw that fight today! Yeah, you were dead wrong! Lol! Teo is salty because he knows he has't been up to par, so he's just running his mouth, and it's coming out all wrong! Bradley sucks...period!

I was definitely wrong in believing that Teofimo was was not only going to lose this fight against Taylor, but was going to get hurt in the process.
I admit it, but no one is perfect, and you'll be dead wrong in some of your future picks in upcoming fights, that's just the way it go's/part of life.
I have to tell you that the fight wasn't all that, it was kind of boring, it lacked the kind of drama that I thought they were going to produce in the ring.
Never the less it was a great win for Teofimo, his best win in years due to the quality of opponent he had to beat to become champion.
He deserves all the credit in the world for doing what many thought was the impossible for him to do at this point in time of his career.

Taylor is a weight drain victim, just like Teo was vs. Kambo! Teo isn't gonna get a lot of KOs @ 140!

In my opinion Teo's not going to be holding on to that strap around his weight for very long, but I can be wrong once again.
Any fighter who loses a fight because they hung around to long in any particular weight division, doesn't get to use the excuse that they were weight drained.
They knew what the adverse risk could be, and still chose to roll the dice for whatever reason it was, so that's on them not on their opponent.
In life you have to bare the responsibility for your decisions as well as your actions, other fighters have drained themselves, and still have found a way to win.

I haven't heard Taylor use the excuse, but my eyes tell me, from his last 2 fights, that making 140 is too much for him! He was gung ho for 147, then he realized he wasn't going to get the big fight with Crawford, so he decided to stay! That's how I feel about Haney fighting Tank @ 135! No Bueno! Shakur is not worth the money @ 135 too! Hopefully Teo fights Haney or KingRy @ 140! I would LOVE to see him fight "Browny," but seems no one has the balls to suffer that punishment! I hope Subriel doesn't go to MatchRoom and become Andrade 2.0!
