Both guys records are similarly bad. No big names or victories. Andrade has enough skills to win against C+ fighters and pass the eyeball test and Munguia runs over fighters because the ability to squeeze down to weight. These two fighters have a wasted career so far and have not tried to reach glory via sacrifice.

lol boxingscene has never liked any outside links

And I don't think Ali and Rosado should be notable names on Munguia's ledger, Ali was a one hit wonder at the right time and place for the Cotto fight who was retiring and probably overlooking Ali, and Rosado is a textbook definition of a guy that brings his all but can never secure a big win. Even without those two names though, Munguia still has a better resume than Andrade lol.

I do recall that one being an ugly struggle of a fight.

I actually thought Szeremeta might beat Munguia when they fought. GBP was smart to get Kamil on short notice off a brutal loss.

I remember putting it down to the weight cut at the time but was a poor performance. Think I scored it a draw.

I thought Hogan beat him. I also scored the Takuma Inoue fight really close

The cards were poor if I remember correctly.

He probably didn’t fight Andrade because he doesn’t bring much to the table.

Andrade has not made a case for himself to get a big fight. Avoided a couple of fights instead of going at it to get better opportunities if he becomes victorious. Hearn signed him and figured out what everyone knows that he is not a big money fight for anyone.

Yup. What gets me about Andrade is how content he seems wasting his career. I guess his heart isn’t in the game
