Tony Week's defense is 'Barroso is old so I have a bias against him plus I couldn't see the punches, my bad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯'

"Perhaps factoring into Weeks’ hasty decision was the death of Leavander Johnson. The lightweight boxer passed away after sustaining injuries during his fight with Jesus Chavez in September of 2005, a bout that Weeks had refereed."
OK, salute to Tony Weeks for speaking up, and being accountable! Now, NSAC, do your job, and make the fight a "No-Contest," and WBA, do your job, and run it back ASAP!Combat Talk Radio likes this.

The thing is that Barroso looks much older than forty something, but the fight shouldn't have been stopped.
I respect all who get in the ring, but yeah, it kinda leaves a bad taste that Romero, somehow, is the the WBA champion, regular, super title, whatever.
