Benavidez best defense is his offense, therefore when Canelo hits him with a power shot the fight will be over, we all know Benavides weaknesses are his chin defense and has no one punch power, he needs a 6-10 punch combination to drop people, so yeah he will get stop by Canelo on the later rounds

Like most people here I would rather see Alvarez take on Benavidez but if he chooses to go after the Bivol rematch nothing wrong with that. I rather he goes after Benavides on Mexican Independence weekend that would be a huge event and Bivol take on Beterbiev towards the end of the year. Two of the best matches to be made, that would be a great way to end 2023 for boxing fans

Canelo faced GGG x3. Two of those times were in GGG prime. Most fans have recency biases, but let’s not forget GGG was the most feared fighter of this generation. I’m sure Canelo is not “scared shietless of David Benavidez”

Running if he doesn't fight him next year yeah. But if he fights Bivol that isn't running, that is taking the bigger risk. A guy a weight above, who has all ready beat him and most people not giving a Canelo a chance in the rematch
