Man what part of "Canelo is scared sh.tless of David Benavidez" do u not understand? We all know damned well that Eddy Reynoso received that offer. But he'll run, duck, dodge, deflect, shift blame, deny, and lie, in order to avoid this fight. If Canelo were to take this fight, he would take a sustained beating, the likes of which we have never seen him take in the ring. Ppl will be crying and wailing in the streets, the ER rooms everywhere will be filled with women who puked then fainted at the sight of the carnage. Mexico will mourn like America did when Rocky knocked out Joe Louis. It will mark the end of one of the longest, most successful cherry pick runs in boxing history

Sorry guy but a 35 and 36 year old ggg was not in his prime. Yes he was still good, yes even at that advanced age he deserved to beat Canelo, but certainly not in his prime. That’s much different from a Benavidez who is in his mid 20’s as well as much bigger and stronger than Canelo, while canelo is clearly slowing down rapidly at 33 years old. I don’t think this fight is one that they’re jumping out of their shoes to take.

Benavidez is much bigger, faster and more vicious than even prime GGG who was mainly just a can crusher who struggled with Danny Jacobs.

I would say regardless of age, GGG was at the latter stage of his prime. Still in his prime tho. The points you make for Benavides I see as a flaw. Young, no real experience at this level, and most importantly, never faced someone that will meet him in the middle of the ring who’s possibly more powerful than him and is willing to trade shots. Benavides hasn’t faced anyone remotely close to the power and punch placing that Canelo has. How will he react when canelo lands that first big shot? No one knows.

Well I hope we’ll get to see but I think Benavidez size, strength and more importantly stamina will be a problem for canelo who doesn’t like to be carried fast, especially now that he’s getting older. Bengal so has the mentality that he’s going to bring it. He won’t be passive like the Brit’s canelo has been facing or a 40 yr old ggg.

I honestly thought he was about to get TKO'd. Dude was taking so much damage after the 7th or 8th round.

It looked like he was getting hurt badly. Was I the only one seeing this? A mans head can only take so many shots.

He has a good chin. But Benavidez or the other two Russians are too much for him at this point.

he cannot make 159 anymore and 168 and 175 is too dangerous.
