Spence builds up an early lead behind his jab and control of distance, wouldn't be surprised if he wobbles Crawford and catches him reaching, in the second half I can see Crawford turning full attack mode and getting to Spence.

If it goes the distance I see Spence potentially hanging on for a close decision or Crawford by late stoppage.

    what do people think?
Nope, dumb prediction, not happening like Hagler/ Hearns. Bud is far too carful to go off being wreckless.

You don't get many old school throwback fighters anymore other than usyk perhaps beterbiev and bivol too.
This. ^^^ I was going to write something to this effect, but you already said it. Styles aside, this is the bottom line.

The times were different, you wasn't there its a totally different landscape across the world in all sports, those old-time fighters would fit in today like a glove and do exactly what everybody else is doing with managers, promoters networks, the list of modern sport roadblocks is a mile long around the big fights, it was no different back then the top guys wanted the big dollar it wasn't available in the amounts anything like it is today.

And anyway to the point both TC and Crawford have killer mindsets, don't get caught up in all the romance and hype with time, most writers were not there, time has a way of embellishing itself.

          Bruh.........

Neither Bud nor Spence (mostly Bud) has earned the right to be compared to hyped AA Ron Pryor.
Not enough time for the winner (mostly Bud) to catch up.

That or Mike McCallum vs Donald Cherry as well...

Boxing need GREAT FIGHTS, Classic Fights and Rivalries that is what got Casuals Attention. Casuals have no horse in the Race, they tune in or buy a fight...TO SEE A FIGHT they don't care nothing about liking Spence or Bud more like some hardcores, most of the Casuals barely even know these guys be honest.

I swear almost every time I've built up a fight to a Casual it seems to almost never deliver but then they fights you don't spread the word about, those end up being the great fights. Strange how that works!

Good Luck to Both, I do Like both so I dont' care who wins, just give me a CLASSIC!

Only they are not comparing fighters they are referencing the occasion, you've got to look at all the angles here its a huge fight in this day, all that's on the line, both undefeated and their style kinda guarantees a very good fight, hype comes in different ways if people wasn't being controversial in claims nobody would be reading anything, nobody would be getting excited over anything because its never good enough, it seems hard for people to see things in its own light, its always somebody got to be better so lets deflate it, as Tarver just said we in the hate era.

Nostalgia being what it is, it's undeniable that, by and large, the products of today's American society are not the men of yesterday.

Ive been around long enough to have lived some of yesteryear. And now is different.
