yall thinking the memory will fade by running away to 140? If anything, this will haunt him for the rest of his career..
imagine if he goes to 140 to avoid an old loma who beat him to embarassment; and shakur and tank who is undoubtedly will beat him..
Lolololol
Besides, Devin has already fulfilled his contractual obligation with Top Rank. Therefore, he doesn't owe Loma shit! So this sense of entitlement won't get him nowhere. However, in any case; Let's just say that hypothetically there was a rematch.
Then where would the money come from? I ask that question because trust me Team Haney is going to want at the very minimum at least double the money they got from Top Rank for their first bout with Loma
They definitely won't be getting that type of money from Top Rank; Especially in light of the fact that the PPV event flopped doing just 150,000 buys.
Lastly, a rematch with Loma would be too dangerous for Devin Haney due io this current backlash against him. It would be impossible for him to get a fair shake.
For the simple fact that the officials would be under a lot of political pressure by the boxing public to ensure that the white guy won this time. So it wouldn't be an even playing field.
The deck would be extremely stacked against Devin "The Dream" Haney.

As a pro boxer, you gain respect for beating tough opponents, not getting gift decisions against them or winning by clinching and jabbing. Another way to get respect is by losing to the best in a very strong effort.
The way Haney boxes isnât respectable.
He can choose to fight Oleksandr Usyk next for all I care. Thatâs not what makes me a fan of a fighter, just choosing tough opponents. He needs to either beat them with no controversy, or lose in a valiant effort.
Most boxers won’t do that and always look for the lowest risk fights they can get while still getting paid.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 06-01-2023, 02:04 AM.champion4ever likes this.

Much as I dislike the man I have to be fair, seen a lot of talk of haney being chinned at 140 what's to say he won't be sturdier? He won't have to cut so much weight which is known to compromise the punch resistance. Haney looked skeletal at the kambosos weigh ins he's been due a move up. With his height and reach I could see welterweight being a future destination.
I think he will be stronger than expected as he moves up.

For me that says it all for this guy, and I don't need to hear nothing else for from him.
Because, in my opinion, he does more self self promoting than boxing promoting.Last edited by kiaba360; 06-01-2023, 08:16 AM.
