Comments Thread For: Hearn: Haney Wants To Move Up To 140; Has Identified Prograis As The Fight He Wants

If Devin or Bill Haney does not say it, it don't mean squat what Hearn says.

Hearn said at one time that, "It's not just my opinion, but nobody wants to see Crawford vs Spence, and that Amir Khan vs Kell Brook, was a bigger fight."

For me that says it all for this guy, and I don't need to hear nothing else for from him.
Because, in my opinion, he does more self self promoting than boxing promoting.

Blah Prograis is one overrated arse fighter by hardcores..

Fighting Prograis at 140 is significantly easier then facing Loma @ 135

Catterall, Haney or Matias all good fights against Prograis. Lets see if Regis comes out victorious agains Zorrilla as expected who steps up and takes the fight.

The biggest money fight for Haney is the PPV with Tank Davis

It would also have the highest chance of a Haney KO loss. They don’t really want that smoke. He called out Stevenson and Tank at 135 to save face, turn the boos in to cheers. That dude has no intentions of fighting either of them unless maybe if they go up to 140.

There are several guys at 140 with the power to KO Haney, Prograis is one of them. If I were the Haney’s, i’d be looking at Ramirez, Catterall, Barboza, Zepeda or Martin. Basically the lesser punchers of the division.

                  Haney can’t make 135 anymore.

If he fights Prograis he should get nothing but respect for choosing a very tough opponent.

I think he was talking in regards to the UK market , well at least I hope so because there is no excuse if he muttered those words, even tongue in cheek
