Duran would be too much for him, you all seem to think you can just out-box duran lol, it doesn't work like that, Duran won't let you out-box him he'll chase you down put you on them ropes and smash your body/arms/head everything he can hit. He beat a Prime unbeaten Leonard at 147 and no, Leonard didn't fight a ****** fight, that's how Leonard ALWAYS fought.

Much respect for Mayweather but if we're talking 1980s rules @ 135, Mayweather isn't winning.
Floyd is great on the ropes.. SHOULDER ROLL

      Did Hagler win?hmm

Is Benitez better than Floyd on any level?hmm

Anyway, Duran had a tendency to get wild when he got frustrated so how would he hold up mentally against the greatest defense of all time. Not at all. He would get beaten easily at any weight via UD. Thats if the "No Mas" rule doesnt apply.

to beat duran you had to outbox him or fustrate him... I see floyd outboxing duran like leonard did in the second fight... but don't get me wrong duran will have his moments.... I see floyd in a tough UM 7 -5

Eitherway, I'd have Duran winning this. I don't see how 147 would be any different to 135, Duran beat Leonard at 147 (yes I'm aware the styles are totally different but it still proves Duran was a beast at 147).

Nobody ever watched Duran? If it was Duran instead of Hatton Mayweather would've lost and retired unless he wanted a rematch which I doubt it.

Btw, Leonard fought Duran's fight, look at the rematch he was fighting his own fight and using the ring and his defense to outbox Duran. You don't think Floyd who is no slouch when it comes to defense, would fight Duran very defensively and go for a decision win??? you honestly think Defensive-ass Floyd will trade with a dangerous puncher like Duran?

              You can't be serious.
BS Duran was like Ricky Hatton by then, shedding 50 lbs in 3 months.

Well if you were a lightweight and you go all the way up in weight and can give the middleweight champion, an ATG a competitive fight, that says something...

Nobody at 135 is EASILY beating Duran...that's not gonna happen...he would punch you in the hip, liver, push you down, spit on you and everything before you try to cruise against him at 135...

Mayweather would outbox with any size gloves or ring or rules.

Put him in a phone booth with Duran and you will see how good floyd is fighting in the pocket, up close and personal.

15? you guys think Floyd is a lazy ass bum I see. Try sparring 15 Minute rounds, forget about 15 rounds, how about 15minute rounds?

If it's about stamina and having the skills to run when he has to run and not get caugh ton the ropes?

Damn I understand Duran was unbeatable and all but it frustrates me cause we'll never get to see this fight happening so everyone can see how wrong you all are about Duran chasing Floyd and making him fight and somehow throw him off his gameplan...You can give Floyd any size gloves, any ring, any fighter oP4P and you will see a defensive genius with cat like reflexes win a "boring" decision under any circumstances.

Edited somethings cause I wrote it too fast.
