It's funny how people on here think Floyd is invincible.

He's been beaten before by JLC.

People write it off as if Floyd's defense will always rule the day.

Even though DLH still lost by a few rounds, he made it a very competitive fight when he used the jab. If anything DLH showed that you can come up with a decent plan against Floyd. You could definitely see clearly what he was trying to do and was more or less applying it until the last third of the fight.

He also gave up the majority of the rounds to Zab until Zab ended up doing what he always does. (which is fade).

You can say I'm just stating "what ifs" and hypothetical scenarios. But my point is simply this: Floyd isn't invincible. He's shown vulnerability in the past to the fighters I mentioned. Just because his defense is great doesn't mean its unbeatable by any means.

Having said that, Floyd has never seen a fighter with a versatile offense like duran.

That's fine...I just think he was a little slower at the weight.

Regardless Floyd would have to do something to earn Duran's respect...Floyd isn't unhittable at 147 and Duran will catch him even if he has to eat some shots to do so...

World champion when he was 17.....let that sink in for a moment....he was a World champion when he was 17 and in an era where there was 1-2 champions per weight division, not 5-6. Not saying he's a better defensive fighter than Floyd but Benitez is most definitely an ATG with amazing skills.

I think it's funny that these *****s believe Mayweather who isn't even a top 30 ATG would easily beat a man who is one of the TOP 10 GREATEST OF ALL TIME.

I agree with everything you said except the bolded...I thought Floyd edged it out but it could have gone either way...

I'm tired of ppl bringing that fight up when Floyd was basically fighting with one arm...

Floyd would be taken to hell if he stood right in the pocket with Duran...

Kevin, if you put Mayweather in a phone booth with Duran he'd be murdered. Mayweathers best gameplan would be ring movement, you do not stay in one spot against Duran. Floyd can only shoulder roll so many shots before his arms start getting worn down.

Floyd would have to fight the perfect defensive fight with Duran, not easy at all and I know that was directed at me that's why i am addressing this post.

PBF is the best fighter right now from 147-160, thats just my opinion. But when your talking about a fighter of the caliber of Duran, you really cant compare. Look at Duran's resume he fought everyone and every divison he went to. Duran is a true ATG, there will probably never be another fighter like Duran. Duran knew how to cut the ring off, slip punches, counter..he did it all in the ring. At 135 or 147 Duran wins..I just cant see PBF going 12rds with Duran. PBF dont have Hitman or Hagler or SRL type power to stop Duran. Benitez beat him yes but that dont mean that PBF would beat him, Benitez and PBF where different fighters and Benitez had more power than PBF. People need to look at some of the old tapes watch an old Benitez, Duran, SRL fight..these guys were truly amazing.

At 135 prime for prime dont mess with hands of stone he would kill him in a fair fight.

But i think floyd would win the fight before the fight, Duran was easy to fool, Floyd would make an agreement where he would get the most advantages and win with his intelligence. ( like srl did one their rematch knowing durans poor habits ) Nothing wrong about that ...

But a fair and square fight prime for prime at 135 ... Duran by KO
