Douglas Cohen is speaking as if Fury has taken on all comers.

Fury has fought Kiltschko 7-8 years ago and then Wilder 'Great wins, but Fury has not taken on all comers as a Champion'.

I am unsure why? The boxing World and Fury's hardcore fans hold Fury to a extremely low standard as a fighter.

Champions are meant to fight their nearest competition, there's always competition out there 'As you have pointed out' etc.

I think most people are kind of past truly giving a **** now. Of course it'd still do great numbers but the energy around that fight isnt the same as it would have been years ago. Same with AJ/Wilder. Promoters failed to strike while the iron was hot. This HW era is coming to a close and there was a lot of wasted potential there in terms of getting the big fights made at the right time.

O wow, you must rate Fury very high.

I reality, he only beat Klitschko, Whyte and Wilder.

So, lets not act like Sanchez, Zhang, Hrgovic...would be a walk in the park for him.

          Hrgovic
          Makhmudov
          Sanchez
          Miller

Maybe not good fights, but entertaining.
Fury was in terrible shape in the third Wilder fight and in Whyte fight.

I didn`t even watch Chisora 3 and I have no intention of watching it.

So I wouldn`t be surprised if Fury lost to somebody like Sanchez or even Makhmudov.

Add Zhang, Ruiz, Ortiz, Charles Martin.
Any of those would be more entertaining than dudes like Wobbly-Legs Whyte and 10-52-3 Chisora.

George Warren said no contract was sent and said Furys a fighter not a promoter or lawyer he misunderstood while trying not to start laughing . In other words he’s been lying again .

Cant believe this guy still has fans , lucky there’s a lot of betas in this world to back him . Lol

From Hearn's interview it sounds like there are some discussions at least. Obviously no contract has been sent, but nobody believed that anyway.

But the right approach is being taken - continue those discussions but not to stop any other negotiations. No-one can make plans based on anything Fury is saying.

Fury's now at the point where he will have to make great, concrete offers before anyone will consider preparing to fight him. That's not great for a champion - he should have options and have people looking to fight him. The Champion is supposed to accept a challenge! Instead people are so tired by his BS it will be him who has to make all the running.

Or he can just fight nobodies until a mandatory comes around. Which is what I think he'll do.

Fury fans think he’s the goat, but sadly he’s actually just a sheep.

To be fair, IF Fury wants to fight AJ over Usyk, that’s understandable, as Fury vs AJ would bring in more money for him. I understand that while looking at it as maximizing your earnings. I also know Usyk is fighting Dubois, but that’s after Fury played all types of games.

As a fan, i’m disappointed and wish Fury vs Usyk was made instead.

Iv been saying this for years too, and the thing about them great wins they were over fighters way over the hill , near great grandad age in sports terms , he is just a fighter that had a great marketing team , clumsy technique , del boy is the only real top guy we seen him beat and that's just a perfect style for him
