He didnt beat them when they were at their best. And he could have at least tried. I thought waiting to face Roy till he was 39 and then trying to claim that win ment something was the ultimate ***** move.
Cant say much about Hopkins because I have heard contrary reports from both parties about the other skipping out on a fight.

Yea you need someone like Anthony Mundine.

Who says he didnt try? But what would Roy Jones have got from fighting an unknown Welshman with no real money on offer? We all know the Hopkins back out story. Calzaghe didnt hold any cards.

Whereas Mayweather can take his pick from a plethora of top class fighters in his weight class but he refuses to.

        Completely different situations.

I never said Kessler was a top 5 fighter though, did I? Is Mundine any worse/better than those two anyway?

No you didn't. Neither did any credible pub either.

And yes, I'd rate him worse than both Manfredy and Gainer.

yet they are being compared....so you have to find common ground in which to compare them. Joe said on many occasions he would not come to the US and fight. You said it yourself, there was no reason for Roy to seek out Joe.
