Are people still excited for this fight? I still want to see it but it feels like the hype is not what it once was.

I'm waiting until the fight is over and Boxrec has been updated with the results of the fight before I believe it's actually happening!

Once I saw the fight was made, my first thought was how I'd be 10x more excited if this was 4-5 years ago.
I'm still a little excited for it though!

I read someplace else that they were going to fight at 154lbs I hope not let it be for the undisputed welterweight championship going up in weight will only help Spence he's about 2 inches taller than Crawford

Not normally a fan of rematch clauses, this one I like though, in light of recent events.

Hell yes this is still exciting...Both guys are at or above 90-95% of their peaks, and neither has taken any significant punishment. This ain't no Manny/Floyd-type situation. This is big time boxing!

When Spence never announced that he had set a date to face Thurman, I was optimistic that he was working to secure a bout with Crawford. I'm estatic that the fight is going to take place. I'm hoping for a classic.

Yeah, at this point in sports, modern day science has athletes in their mid-30s changed very little from late 20's. Unless your Canelo and you have been doing PED's for years while jerking your body down 30 pounds a camp and then rehydrating to have the size advantage. That **** eats your body up, Canelo is like a 40 year old fighter at this point. Bud and Spence both are in great shape and neither guy has ever really even been that hurt, so this fight is very close to the same as a few years ago.

I'd say Bud and Spence are both still in their primes, though towards the end.
