Rematch room is called that for a reason but this is a genuine case to right a wrong , not one of Hearns you have to beat any of his boxers at least twice to win bollocks .

Haney is right here. Love Loma, but he has 10000 excuses. When he lost to Teo, his shoulder was jacked up. Now this. The fight wasn’t a robbery. If I win a round because I outlanded you 5-3, then you win the next round because you Outland me 22-3, it’s still a draw, one round apiece, Thou you’ve outlanded me 25-8 total. Loma scored the more eye catching, harder punches, but those only win you that round.

Thank you for being both sane, and for actually understanding how boxing rounds are scored and scored are tallied. I was rooting for Loma 200%. But WTF. I had it a draw and felt I might've been generous with a round or two for Loma because of my bias, and because the rounds were so freaking close and Devin is the champion. I don't think Lennox cried half this much after the 1st Holyfield fight, he just fought him again for another giant stack of bills. Even many of the pro boxers or trainers saying, "Loma won, or it was at least a draw" admit to not having watched it / scored it, rather just how "they felt it should've been" in principle. Not how it works. These morons who actually think Loma won 8-4 are nuts.

They may not be losers but 9 out of 10 of them didn't actually score the fight round by round while watching, and were talking and drinking and not paying full attention all 3 mins of the rounds. Anybody who is sane, and who watched the fight they way a judge would (whether ringside or at home) felt that it was a 1-2 pt fight either way, or a draw, based on how razor thin close so many rounds were. (Only 2 rounds were super decisive). Anyone who thinks Loma won 8-4 is a lunatic, and I was rooting for Loma 200%.

If I was managing Haney. I would have him take one more fight this year at 140. Then have him move back down to the 135 weight limit and rematch Loma. That's more courtesy than Loma has ever showed Devin Haney in his entire life.

I remember once Haney became his mandatory challenger; Loma wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. You know what? On second thought; Fuck that shit! Haney doesn't owe him a goddamned thing! I wouldn't give him shit!
