Yeah really this has me curious. Does the NSAC usually fine boxers and MMA fighters for pushing? If not, why Haney and why that crazy amount?

i don’t like Haney but 400k is crazy. That’s more than guys pay for coming in overweight and having an advantage on fight night.

        • The decision was fair. Loma lovers rootin' and tootin' for him all night, but he only had magic in the 10th and 11th. He ate a ton of jabs and body shots to only be convincing in two rounds. Haney was aggressive and consistent for most of the fight, though he tired badly from the mid 9th through the 11th. But he put in enough work and had enough success to get a decision. The problem with most decisions is that neither guy has been able to be 'convincingly dominant' for many fans.

Loma and fans should suck it up. He had hi chances to put a whoopin on Haney. He couldn't do it convincingly. If he had put more rounds together like the 10th and 11th he would have the belts. A decision is always a crap-shoot. Put on a clear beat down or live with the results. No crying after ...

It was a good fight. Both guys put on clinics, Both were aggressive. Most rounds were close. Haney did great work in all the rounds, including pushing through the terrible 10th and 11th. He managed to take Loma's best and come back and win the 12th.

For Haney, that shove at the press conference was dumb sheets. Hopefully $400K lighter in the wallet will clear up any need to pull dumb stunts like that in the future. You did it, no crying after ...

Don't matter what fans think. A professional fights guys when they know they are ready for them. No one parachutes before they are confident to do it. Boxing t'aint no different. No shame in getting more experience when you're young. And every boxer is on his own timeline. When one guy is ready vs when another guy is ready just means they are at different places in their journey.

Fan tears and gripes over dumb sheets .... LoL, if you aren't quite up to speed at YOUR job, you get scolded, demoted, or fired. Boxers get concussions or worse. LoL, man stop that comparison whining. This ain't checkers ...

PS: no matter who you're a fan of, this applies. I'm not a big Tank fan, but he's getting it done and making money, so ...

            • Out of the "four princes", I thought that Haney was the most mature and least prone to drama. This situation is proving that he still has some growing to do. Haney won the in-ring battle against Loma, but that isn't enough. He so desperately wants to win in the court of public opinion, but he's fighting a losing battle. Lashing out on social media is only fanning the flames. Accept that people had you losing, and use that negativity to fuel your career in a positive way. OR....detach from social media and avoid the dumb shxt altogether.

Hopkins did the same exact thing to Winky Wright and was fined $200k so it’s pretty standard

Loma was the one who lost. Where is the intention for a rematch from him? Oh wait, he wants to weasel his way out using fines and appeals. Hahaha.....

What a load of crap. If anyone needs to grow up it's Nomachenko. Devin was quite respectful post-fight. You expect him to keep quiet while someone is tarnishing his rep and compromising his brand? He isn't even doing too much, all that he said is what people with sense also said.

                    • That's an incredible amount of money for the violent shove that Haney gave Lomachenko, but it serve's him right for acting like a thug.
He better learn to control his physical outburst, before it cost him a lot more than just money, for every action their's an equal, and opposite reaction.
Newtons third law of action & reaction, Haney would be wise to remember it outside of the ring, as well as he remember's it inside the ring.
