Okay...Tell me something...do you think De La Hoya the Lineal Champion was more of a threat or less than a threat than John Ruiz?

    Thanks in advance.

Floyd going up to Junior Middleweight is the euivalent of Jones going up to Heavyweight?

The only difference was that floyd fought the Lineal Champion there and Roy Jones fought for an Alphabet titleagainst John Ruiz. And this is coming from a Jones nuthugge and trust me i def favor Jones over Mayweather anytime.
DLH was the Lineal Champ? Wasn't it vacated when Winky went up to 160, and hasn't been filled since...?

Believe it or not, The Ring had De La Hoya as the Lineal Champ at 154. Why you think people say De La Hoya owns The Ring?

Roy Jones. He is the first middleweight to win heavyweight title since past 106 years. Plus he was an undisputer Light heavyweight champion and have belts in 4 different divisions.

Not really Floyd went up 24lbs from his debut Jones went up about twice that.

I don't remember that being for The Ring title. Plus, The Ring title isn't always the Lineal Title.

Superman RJ all day, everyday over FMJ. Roy is a one of a kind fighter that won't be seen again for some time whereas Floyd is gifted athletically, but he was created mostly in the gym and by a honed technique that took a generation to perfect (which he did). Roy will always be remembered better than Floyd simply due to the fact that he was a classy and likeable guy with real charisma. Floyd is just a ******ed turd.

Being number 1 in the Ring rankings in your weight class is being the Lineal Champion dude.
