You can have haters as fans, but be respected by your peers and some boxing writers.

Haney doesn’t have that, and has less of that after tonight.

Fans don’t vote who gets in the Ring top 10 P4P. Haney is the only fighter in the 4 belt era that has become the “undisputed” champion and not even make it into the top 10 P4P rankings. And that has nothing to do with fans. Those are boxing journalist telling Devin Haney loud and clear that he doesn’t have that respect yet.

At least Andre Ward seems to love him.

Why do you think that the most fighters struggle to make as low weight as possible?

They want to be in the lowest division for their body type. They have reason why.

Moving up in weight obviously doesn`t help their power, the opposite, they face many difficulties while fighting guys of their size.
Yeah, Haney going from Paulie Malignaggi like power to Mike Tyson by moving up is highly unlikely. What is more likely to happen is bigger fighters will take Haney’s performances vs Linares and Lomachenko and start bullying him around the ring, not giving a fck about what he throws. Just steamrolling him, as the smaller Loma seemingly did several times.

He is weight drained, depleted, it'll help with his endurance and his legs will be stronger.

There are lots of instances of fighters draining themselves at a weight not looking like punchers that have moved up and suddenly had power, a recent example off the top of my head is Tony Bellew.
Another in Canelo, Terrance Crawford being another - wasn't really known as a puncher at 135 or 140, he has stopped every opponent at Welter.
People might argue its the opponents (bad opposition and a shot Makabu) but Badou Jack moves up and suddenly looks a puncher.

Weight cutting is a double edged sword on one hand size can be a definite advantage but when you're drained it will weaken everything from your legs, endurance, power, strength, energy, punch resistance.
Its no coincidence all the true ATGs never tired or cut much weight and fought around their natural classes.

Devin is dead at the weight.
I'm not saying he will suddenly become Tommy Hearns but I think those extra 5lbs will help massively as he is a huge Lightweight and I feel its really hindering him especially his legs in the backhalf of fights.

Crawford was a big puncher at 140, Badou was always a mid level puncher.

Devin isn't as depleted as you want to believe, he's looked fresh and finished well in his last few fights.

You can’t compare Cruz to Haney.

                  1. Pitbull actually has a chin.
                  2. Pitbull doesn’t have the power of a 10 year old girl.
                  3. Pitbull is a pressure fighter, not a clinching ballerina.

Tank would really have no problem beating the dog sh/t out of Haney. It would be a matter of time in there. Not if, more like what round will Tank catch Haney hard and drop him. It would be worse than what we saw in the Linares fight.

Well, he must fight them first. I wouldn`t bet that he will actually do that.

Tank is in theory the best lightweight, but he must beat somebody good first.

BTW, where is this WIDE UD win for Haney you predicted to happen?

140 isnt very good he is probably better off up there than at 135 where the opposition is better
