Haney is in a bad situation right now

He lost a lot of respect from that fight, although I had it a draw, and not a Pac/Bradley situation, the fact is the vibe and aftermath feels the same. Haney came out of this fight looking bad in the eyes of fans and pundits, whether you find that justifiable or not.

Secondly, fans will be pushing for the rematch, and although Loma will be a year older, Haney is really struggling to make weight at 135 and the weight cut may be too much for him.

Third, he gets found out at 140, which is a weak division. But he doesn't have the strength, power or chin to hang at 140 and certainly not at 147. He couldn't put a dent in little old Loma and hasn't had a knockout in 4 years at lightweight.

He'll soon get found out and he's lucky he's avoided Gervonta thus far.

Regis dogwalks him, and Subriel puts him into a coma.

The only thing I don't get is how is that Haney's fault? He wasn't the one judging the fight and if it's that close with your dad telling you that you're ahead wouldn't you believe it?

You don't think him moving up and not draining himself won't help his strength, power, chin and endurance?

I'm not saying it's his fault I'm just telling how it is.

Haney looks extra bad because he talked all that sh** about how he would dominate Loma.. never lose to a white boy blah blah blah for all these years.

Yeah that's cringe but I think as a young fighter you gotta hype yourself up more than you do it to sell a fight. It'll be interesting to see where he goes from here because he definitely needs to change his training up.

Once haney go up in weight he will no longer starved himself to death for making weight and that will make him a lot stronger and with his skill he can easily clean the 140lbs division.

I see your point but the guy can't crack an egg let's be real now.

He's only 24 and can get away with the draining for now, he hasn't been that depleted from dehydrating has he? His energy levels have seemed to hold up throughout the fight.

When he moves up he'll be up against bigger stronger guys who hit harder, hell he might get walked through at some point.

He is what he is. he will be thrown to the bigger guys, because he will not be able to compete at 135.

To be honest, I won`t be watching his future fights, because he is one dimensional plodder.
