“Before, I thought he would be better,” said Lomachenko, who broke down and cried in his locker room. “He’s a tough fighter. But he’s not a pound-for-pound fighter.”

Wow Loma really sounds weak here. Loma has looked poor ever since he moved up in weight. Just like Canelo. These guys should stick to a realistic weight

That's because the US is a superior country. Other countries have to celebrate what they've got which is often one or two elite athletes in the whole country

That racist bastard Shakur Stevenson coming out saying Haney lost
And then you wanna know why boxing is in the state that it is
Some people just bring it onto themselves by cheering for a country , colour or promoter

This was a very close, but clear fight to score. If you go by the criteria that you score a fight on. Clean punches, effective aggression, ring generalship. Was all on the side of Loma. Haney was playing keep up. He fought well at times, and showed his quality, but He was not controlling the fight. This was not a robbery like when they gave Jeff Horn the win over Pac Man. I was more like Oscar losing to Tito. Great fight, but the wrong guy won.

I don't think it has to do with superiority necessarily since that can be measured in a wide spectrum but I believe it has to more with american culture which is pretty cutthroat. No one likes a loser in the U.S. and it doesn't matter what color or ehtnicity you are. The U.S. soccer team can get third place in the world cup and no one will do a homecoming, no one was going to cheer for Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin had they landed on the moon second to the russians

I've been watching and reading reactions from last night from boxers and most believe that Loma won pretty clear. I scored it 115-113 for Loma but as soon as I heard 116-112, I knew that Loma needed a KO to win last night

I rewatched and scored as best as I could. Still close by my eye, but I think Loma’s ring generalship and cleaner punches gave him the edge. Haney wasn’t exactly lost in there, but there were way too many moments of him being the more rattled fighter, and overall Loma displayed the more effective gameplan. I can see it going either way; very difficult to score some rounds, but yeah… Loma won this, I believe.

              Really good fight.

Loma clearly won an excellent and highly skilled fight .Haney told his dad in between rounds that Loma knew everything he was doing and sought advice , his dad was pretty clueless as he was leading up to the contest. If Haney is going to get better then Bill Haney must be ditched , he's nothing more than a cheer leader.Loma should try for a rematch , something I doubt any Haney will want.

Loma was walking Haney down the entire fight. Wtf. That alone wins him the fight. Haney had 20 pounds on him with a substantial height and reach advantage.

                  loma won.

                  excellent fight.

Did you see Lomachenko’s lead left straight rock Haney more than once?

he’s going to sleep vs Gervonta. That’s my prediction. Haney literally is getting stopped. He has nothing to bother Tank.
