How can you dare take away titles that took Haney three decisive title fights to unify and just give the
to Loma in one fight that was at best a draw?
LOMA had to do more than that, I mean look at Loma’s beat up face and you know his body is aching. Y’all need to be fair to the game and like I said earlier, neither Haney nor Loma could decisively beat the other and to me that’s at best a draw and you should not take another man’s earned titles with a simple draw result.
Made an account just to post, but I can't agree with that.

Boxing is in a terrible state with the judges and needs some type of change. Fighters shouldn't have to feel like the only way they can win is to knockout the champion, otherwise the champ automatically wins. Some people even bruise easier than others, so judging off their face is a terrible way to judge a fight unless one is bleeding ridiculously bad while the other is pristine. There should be no hometown cooking or anything of the sort to sway the scores.

Tonight, personally, I thought Loma won that, but even a draw would've been okay since boxing wants these younger guys to fight so bad.

The sport is just in a really bad state...

Ahhh, I didn't know this was his final contracted fight. I stand corrected!

Still a great fight that could have went right way.

If you think the fights are real then you should have the exact opposite conclusion to this. Lomachenko usually has guys gassed out ready to quit by the 7th or 8th round. The fact Haney still had gas to win the 12th round, and not get knocked out by Loma's supposedly real punches in the 11th round, means he is making the weight really easily.

But that's if you buy the script, lol. The truth is it has nothing to do with none of that.

This is why i wish someone, with more time and resources than i have, would run analytics on the judges. It would be good to know if ‘Judge A’ awards 90% of his rounds to the fighter who throws more punches. Or if ‘Judge B’ doesnt score body shots as important as head shots.

I mean actual analysis, not just anecdotal. Then, if a given judge or two break trend, especially to support an A-side fighter in a close decision, you know somethings up. Of course thats why it will never happen.

He was booed before the fight even started jackass

Crowd was clearly biased from the start.

                • Wait, yall mean to tell me that an Eastern European fighter lost a close decision in America, where most fans thought he won. To an A-side, money maker from North America.....shocking

Yeah a few years of age is so precise that it always kicks in just one minute before these guys can finish a fight they are otherwise dominating in that moment, despite the adrenaline rush they would get from the crowd in that moment that should actually give them more energy.

This happens over and over again in these scripted "fights." If people think that's age, then the snake oil salesmen tricked them again, lol! They always have a ready excuse to divert your attention from the real reasons. It's called sleight of hand. They plan it like, "really it's going to be a fake fight, but in order trick people into not seeing that it is, we're going to dangle these other excuses over here to distract their attention, just like a magician uses sleight of hand to distract people's attention over here while he changes out the card over there while you're not looking."

It was a decent show though. I still think they are really shortchanging their customers though with all the missing and hugging and lack of activity by the fighters. There was a lot of waiting around where nothing much happened, just killing time to make it easier to script, practice, and perform.

                    • Loma doesn't have it anymore- that closing, killer instinct, if you will. He relented so much near the final minute and half of the last few rounds. He was sparsely doing his Matrix moves. Should have been a draw. But can anyone attest to Haney looking two or three weight classes bigger than Loma? No excuse, but my goodness..

Also, Haney is turning into Larry Holmes. Nobody will give him the credit he deserves because nobody likes him. How are you at your place of birth, and the whole crowd is booing you? No love for Haney.

Loma- thank you for the memories. Every dog has his day; Loma's days at the top are gone, unfortunately.

Let's make Haney vs Tank for December!
