The racists are super salty about Tank's massive PPV numbers. Don't be racist. Be happy the sport of boxing is thriving.

boxing can be an odd sport, u might have a guy with all the marbles, undisputed even who has to take the short end of the stick or maybe even the scraps to get a fight with another guy who does better ppv numbers, may even have to accept clauses and rematch options just to get the fight, if the fight happens at all that is

If tank next fight brings above 500k then offer tank 10m Shakur 5m. Shakur beats tank if the right is made after a yr once Shakur is accustomed to 135 at high level. Anything before then tank has the slight edge
So you're saying that Ryan Garcia does Canelo ppv numbers? 400k came from DAZN and 800k from Showtime. That should tell you everything you need to know for the most part. You have to have a dancing partner. Even though Shakur is world's better than Ryan I honestly think him and Tank would do about 500k max. You need that rabid base of 5'4 men with 15 old wives talking mess which brings out the more black fans because race plays a part in boxing.

Fight happening will depend on how much Davis want this fight. Historically, he never called out any of the top dogs in the division. Or even mentioned fighting them. It's always been the other, directly or indirectly. In other words, one has to beg for the fight and bend over backwards just like Ryan Garcia and Dela Hoya did. The B side, dying to make the fight, always end up agreeing to whatever Ellerbe, who obviously, still has huge dictating power over Tank, stipulates.

right...that wasn't happening all over the city lol. How do you account for Tank Davis' PPV success? Sure, he's no Mayweather, but it's mainly black people buying his PPVs.

Here's his "massive" PPV numbers so you can have some badly needed perspective.

                  1. Vs Leo Santa Cruz: 200,000
                  2. Vs Mario Barrios: 210,000
                  3. Vs Isaac Cruz: 150,000
                  4. Vs Rolly: 250,000
                  5. Vs Hector Garcia 210,000
                  6. Vs Ryan Garcia: 1,200,000.

Notice any patterns there? Time will tell if Garcia fans will continue to tune into Tank, but it should be pretty obvious that Tank has a core of about 200,000 fans. All of his other events combined only did as much as that one fight against Garcia. Not exactly massive considering the guarantees he demands. I personally doubt that Garcia fans are going to continue to follow Tank, because I'm quite sure they're not following Ryan for boxing reasons.

The real big sellers are Canelo and AJ. AJ has 15 million career. 8 of 13 of AJ's PPVs broke 1 million, and even his worst ones doubled or tripled the usual 200K that Tank does. Canelo has around 10 million career, averaging 830,000 per event, with career lows against Lara and Liam Smith, at 300,000 per. Spence tends to draw about 100,000 more than Tank.

At least he's not in Crawford's position, who only sold 340,000 across 3 events. Andre Ward was only doing 165,000 and 130,000 vs Kovalev though.
