If he doesn't move outta the way of that left hand, it's not going to matter how much bigger and stronger he is. The fact is, Zhang's left is a lot better than Joyce's right. If they stand and trade, Zhang wins that.

Devils advocate: I think Joyce rebounds and wins the rematch. For all the reasons I thought Joyce would win before the first fight: I think Joyce is a tank that has room to improve but needs only be himself to wear boxers down. His decision to try and come in more nimble and lean was not a bad one, he just experimented with the wrong man. Zhang was dangerous. A legit HW that probably should have been given the decision over Filip Hrgovic (boy, has Hrgovic seen his stock rise without fighting, huh?) and should have been respected more. I think Joyce and his camp thought they could try something new and still beat a fighter coming off a loss. They found out otherwise. But I still think Joyce fighting his fight will win. He will connect with power shots that, even if they only hit Zhang glancingly, will wear down the snap on Zhang's jab over the fight.

Maybe i am wrong and give Joyce too much credit for wins over a shot Parker and possibly over-hyped DuBois. But I do believe my own eyes, and I think a motivated, focused Joyce that plays to his strengths wins. This is NOT a dig at Zhang. He deserves all the accolades for his dominating performance and should be the favorite going into the rematch. I just think that was the best Zhang can do, his peak. I do not think that was even close to the best Joe Joyce.

I would not count Joyce out in the rematch at all, in fact i'd still favour him to win. Its not like he actually got KTFO from the shots he was taking, and there was still the whole second half of the fight left for Joyce to keep coming and potentially break Zhang down.

Nobody counting Joyce out. But some people make out why would anyone be surprised Joyce lost wh en he don't move his head and slow? Trying to discredit Zhang win!
