Rigo moved up two divisions, Sosa moved up, Walters shelved and had one fight at the weight where he looked abysmal.
Name me one fight he didn't have a noticeable size advantage in until he moved to LW?

Lomachenko fans had zero issues with his weight bullying yet they soon pull it out as an excuse when it seems fitting.

He never ran back his losses, arguably lost his last fight as well. If he loses to haney, it will be over for him.

I really like watching Loma fight, he is an outstanding generational talent that is both very exciting and satisfying to watch at a technical standpoint.

He is also a natural featherweight beating down plenty of fighters that are physically light welterweights like Jose Pedraza, Anthony Crolla, Luke Campbell, Jorge Linares, Masayoshi Nakatani, Richard Commey and Jamaine Ortiz.

But being that said, honestly the fighters he had faced at lightweight are just good, not exactly great. He might have the best short run as mentioned in the main post, but it leaves a bit to be desired. It sucks that he is physically declining, and he is near the end of his career.

If he beats Haney he would make a statement, but even then, he should aim to beat another top fighter before retiring to solidify his standing.

Yeah not many can match his amateur run, its a shame that the overall talent wasn't that high during his best years he may have proved himself more, I wasn't kinda aiming at the quality of his career, more so the accomplishments, gotta think if he had the standard 40/50 or more fights as most the greats have what would have transpired, he is a light boned smallish guy he was never a guy that could go 140 and up, 135 is the limit, probably 130 his best.

I like watching him fight as well he is very technical.

So if anything you've just further disproved your own point.

I also never criticized Lomachenko in any way.

I responding to your illogical point about Floyd's career post Oscar in comparison to Lomachenko.
Btw: What do you mean Campbell wasn’t in the top five? He was ranked #1 with the WBC. THATS A FACT. Feel free to look it up. Corolla was number one too. He was the mandatory. He was an ex champ who had worked their way to the top of the rankings.

why do you feel that you have to lie to discredit a fighter?

Outstanding fighter but he should have taken on Haney when he was champion instead of dropping the belt.

It's a huge stain on his record.

Thats one hell of an accomplishment, and if he beats Haney then Loma gotta be the lowest-fight best run in history, might be already.
                Yes and no.

He turned pro at an older age after a lomg amateur run so he wasnt going to have the developmental fights like younger pros do.

He has fought a damn good resume. Cant deny that.

Floyd boys can't never just give just due without some weak excuse

Props for what? What does Loma deserve props for? How about the Lomasexuals give props Teo and Salido. Both men beat Loma decisively, but all we hear is excuses.

I remember watching Loma first I believe on one of the ESPN fight nights. I thought he was ****y and arrogant. I wanted to see him lose. I too was satisfied to see him lose to Salido and take the L... ON HIS SECOND FIGHT. I think Salido had like 40 fights at that time or something. In hindsight, talking crap about him losing to a guy with that many fights under his belt in only his second fight, is kind of a stretch... He didn't even get KO'd or dropped.

Since Loma actually loss to Teo, though came on strong in the second half, I never appreciated him much though knew he was something special. I've never seen a guy move and fight the way he does. He's not even on his bike. He'll literally stand in front of you, dipping to the sides, slipping and sliding, you can barely hit him and he's hitting you back in an aggressive manner. Give me another fighter who fights nearly identical.

He is a once in a lifetime type of fighter and I doubt we'll see another like him anytime soon. While I thought I didn't like him because of how good he was, the reality was, I didn't appreciate what he brought to the ring that no other fighter was doing.
