Now to the actual main event itself; I thought it was hot garbage. Rolly Romero needs more seasoning and developing because the kid is simply not ready. He doesn't even know how to fight yet.
He was both dropped and outclassed by a 40 year old opponent well past his prime. If there was anything such thing like a development league in boxing; Then Rolando Romero needs to enroll in it as soon as possible. He badly needs it.

This is the most hilariously gay thing I've read on here. "The pretty guy should win and not the ugly one" lmao ridiculousComment

You literally went straight into victim mode lmao patheticComment

Tony weeks and Jack Reiss are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Reiss will only halt a contest before a fighter is one punch away from death while weeks stops it before shots even land...Comment

That was bad. Stunk like hell. I'm almost tempted to think Puello's PED bust was part of a long term deal just to put a belt around Romero... almost. The only reason why I'm not going there is because VADA was doing the tests. If it was just the NSAC...
Anyway, it has this look: PBC didn't like Rolly's chances against Puello so they arranged to bring in an easy mark, Barraso, instead; and when that looked like it was gonna backfire, the safety switch was flipped at the first opportunity.
I noticed Weeks was standing behind Rolly when he stopped the fight during that last "flurry." From that angle, I don't see how he could have properly gauged Barraso's condition to make that call.
I can't fault Rolly for what Weeks did. At least he stated that the fight should have continued. But he didn't deserve that TKO, especially since he was probably behind on the cards. And they just straight-up fcuked Barraso. Green vomit disgusting.Comment

I have to admit - - this is the first time I've ever seen Romero and he looked terrible in this fight. Besides being significantly outpunched and outboxed - - he looked slow and undecided with very few combinations thrown and fewer landed. This is the problem with boxing today - - this guy, Romero, is in no way a champion of anything. What we need is more belts - - say fifteen in each weight division so everybody can call themselves a "champion." Kinda like a participation trophy.Comment
