Ohh! I had that a draw. I thought Tim Cheatham (116-112) card was dog sht and his Romero only down by 1 round also. But then this is the judge who mixed up the fighters on his card in the Demarco fight back in 2020. He's a TERRIBLE judge.

So did I. I scored it a Draw also. However, I wouldn't have been upset had they scored the fight to Akhmedov or Sims. It was just that razor thin close. A swing round here or a swing round there. The fight could have easily been ruled officially a Draw. I agree. Cheatham is just an awful judge. He shouldn't be allowed to judge big fights.

There's an elephant in the room but once again it's going to be thrown under the rug. Corruption in boxing is still alive and well. Shoot, that crooked Adalaide Byrd was sitting front row. I like Rollies but I think they saw him struggling and had to find the right time to stop the fight. I'm not saying Barroso would have fun but Rollies and him were starting to engage more in those final minutes. A knockout was coming for either fighter. I think the business side of boxing made the decision to save the more marketable fighter from potentially losing. Again, not saying which fighter would have won or lost in the end, but I do think that they saw Rollies in a tougher fight than they expected, and pulled the trigger to save him. Sucks because now he looks bad and it's not even his fault.

Barroso didn't just get robbed in the ring, this has an impact on if he will get another payday and the size of the paycheck. Rolly is going to go on to get spanked for good $ because he talks and can't fight at a pro level. From there try to become an 'influencer' and get paid to go on dancing with the stars etc or fight other 'inflencers'.. He's like the youtuber who crashed his plane on purpose.

This fight had to be fixed. Barroso was clearly winning and then Tony Weeks did the unthinkable and stopped the fight giving Romero an undeserved win. There has to be an independent investigation. Very very su****ious! This reeks fixed!

Whose gonna investigate?

NSAC- they are in the pockets and in cahoots with those doing the fixing.
Sanctioning Orgs- They make more money when the A-sides are winning and can collect more fees
Promotional Orgs- They are the ones facilitating this. And save the anti-PBC stuff in this instance, because they all do it. TR, DAZN, GBP (when they had the juice).
Fans- We can hold are noses all we want, but we will always return. The above organizations have us so tied into specific boxers and promotional groups that we just deflect when our team cheats and act out of sorts when its the other guys.

This fix is right up there with the fixed fights on Matchroom shows. Is anyone investigating? Not really, this is boxing at its worst. Ref Tony Weeks has a lot of explaining to do.
